Yakult Peach Singapore: The First New Flavour In 46 Years

Yakult Peach Singapore: The First New Flavour In 46 Years

Yakult Singapore launched a peach flavour in July 2026, its first new flavour here since flavoured Yakult arrived in 1980. It went to home delivery customers from 1 July and to supermarkets from 6 July, from S$3.50 a pack, and it replaced orange, which stopped production at the end of June.

Peach is in, orange is out

This is a swap, not an addition. Yakult said the Singapore factory does not have the production capacity to run both, so orange came off the line at the end of June 2026 and peach took its slot in the assorted packs. You can get peach in a 5-bottle single-flavour pack, in the assorted 5-bottle pack, and in the assorted family pack.

Forty-six years without a new flavour is the part worth sitting with. Yakult Singapore has changed less than almost anything else in the chiller aisle, which is exactly why the orange decision annoyed so many people. We rated every Yakult flavour around the same time, and orange did not do well, so we are not the ones to mourn it.

What peach actually tastes like

Sweeter than original and softer than grape. It is closer to a white peach than the sharp canned-peach flavour, and it does not fight the base culture the way orange did. If your household buys the assorted pack for kids, this is the one they will fight over.

The honest take: it is good, and it also solves a problem Yakult created for itself. A flavour nobody was passionate about got replaced by one people will actually finish.

Where to buy it

Supermarkets and the usual retail chillers from 6 July 2026 onwards, and through Yakult's own home delivery service. Prices start at S$3.50, though what you pay depends on pack format and where you buy it.

Good to know

· If you only want peach, buy the 5-bottle single-flavour pack. The assorted pack gives you one bottle of it.

· Yakult home delivery got peach five days before supermarkets did, which is worth knowing for the next launch.

· Check the pack before you grab it. Assorted packs changed line-up mid-2026, so old photos online are wrong.
