What Seroja is and why it is in the news

Seroja opened in 2022. Chef-owner Kevin Wong cooks from the Malay Archipelago with local and Malaysian produce, spices and old techniques. The name means lotus in Malay, and it is also the street his family home is on.

On 4 August 2026, Michelin moved it from one star to two. It also keeps its Michelin Green Star for sustainable cooking, one of only two in Singapore. Earlier in the year it came in at No. 20 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants. See where it sits among the others in our Michelin Singapore 2026 list.
