Why Cherry Garden is in the news

Cherry Garden was one of five restaurants to get a first Michelin star on 4 August 2026. Michelin praised the stir-fried Xisha Island lobster with garlic soy sauce and a boneless crucian carp congee. See the other new names in our Michelin Singapore 2026 list.

Chef Fei is from Chaoshan in Guangdong, and his Guangzhou restaurant, Jiang by Chef Fei, has held two Michelin stars for seven years in a row. In Singapore, Chef de Cuisine Steven Luo runs the kitchen day to day.

The six-course autumn menu is $288 per person, minimum two people, from 1 October to 30 November 2026. It runs through an appetiser trilogy with Teochew pork fritter and raw langoustine with caviar, chicken consommé with fish maw, braised bird's nest with crab roe, XO Matsuba crab with Chaoshan pickled vegetable and vermicelli, crab roe xiao long bao, and a double-boiled pear dessert with crab meat pastry.

Add a 15-year Shaoxing wine drunken hairy crab for $48 half or $68 whole. Most of these dishes are also sold a la carte, with the XO Matsuba crab at $288 on its own. Prices are before 10% service charge and GST.
