Tampines might be the best food neighbourhood in the east and it does not even try. Between the recurring bazaar beside the MRT, a 24-hour CHAGEE and durian stalls that need queue management, there is always something on.
Everything below is a spot we have actually covered on @eventful_sg, with links to the original posts.
1. Durian Ninja
END DATE NEVER ANNOUNCEDBlock 827, Tampines Street 81
The durian stall of the season, giving away up to 1,000kg a day free at Block 827, two per person. It started on 19 June 2026 and was reported to run through August, but the stall never announced an end date and has no page we can check, so we cannot confirm it is still going. Worth a look if you are already in Tampines, not worth a special trip.
2. CHAGEE Tampines West CC
OPEN 24 HOURS5 Tampines Ave 3, #01-09, Tampines West Community Club
A CHAGEE that has been trading 24 hours, which is rare for the chain here. Milk tea at 3am is a strange and beautiful thing. Hours do change, so check before a late-night trip.
3. Sushi Plus All-You-Can-Eat
LIMITED WINDOWS, NO SCHEDULETampines One
Sushi Plus runs its all-you-can-eat buffet in limited windows rather than daily, and Tampines One is one of the outlets that has hosted it. When we covered it in September 2025 it was $35 nett per pax on selected Tuesdays, 60 minutes a seating. Check with the outlet before going for the buffet specifically.
4. Tampines MRT Bazaar
NO FIXED SCHEDULEBeside Tampines MRT, EW line
A pasar malam sets up beside Tampines MRT periodically and it is consistently one of the better ones in Singapore. We ranked the five best stalls at the August 2025 edition. There is no published schedule, so watch @eventful_sg for the next one.
5. Ministry of Spud
BAZAAR REGULARBazaar stall, beside Tampines MRT when on
The loaded baked potato stall that follows the bazaar circuit around Singapore. The chilli beef con carne spud with coleslaw is the order, and the portion is huge. If the Tampines bazaar is on, they are usually in it.
6. Mochi Monster
BAZAAR REGULARBazaar stall, Tampines
The viral mochi stall from the Tampines bazaar. It went viral for a reason: genuinely so good, though a bit jelak after the third piece. Budget at least 30 minutes of queueing when they are around.
7. IKEA Tampines Buffet Istimewa
RAMADAN PERIODIKEA Tampines
Yes, IKEA. The Buffet Istimewa has run at IKEA Tampines around Ramadan in recent years, evenings only, with a discount for IKEA Family members. The most recent run was February to March 2026. IKEA announces the dates closer to the time, so check their page rather than assuming.
Is the CHAGEE at Tampines really 24 hours?
Yes, the Tampines West Community Club outlet at 5 Tampines Ave 3 has been running 24 hours, which is unusual for CHAGEE in Singapore. Opening hours do change, so check their page before a late-night trip.
When is the Tampines bazaar on?
There is no published schedule. A bazaar sets up beside Tampines MRT on the EW line periodically, and the August to September 2025 edition is the most recent one we covered. We post each new edition on @eventful_sg when dates drop.
Is Durian Ninja still open?
We cannot confirm it as of 17 August 2026. The free giveaway at Block 827 Tampines Street 81 started on 19 June 2026, two durians per person, and was reported to run through August, but no end date was ever announced and the stall has no organiser page to check.
