The interactive Minecraft attraction at Mandai keeps selling out weekend slots, so book ahead if you are going with kids. It runs until 13 September, but weekends are the crunch.

2. The Formula 1 Exhibition

The official F1 Exhibition makes its Asian debut in Singapore: seven immersive rooms of racing history, rare artefacts and simulators at Gardens by the Bay. Tickets went on sale in June and demand has been high, so book rather than walk in.

3. Singapore Night Festival 2026

The 17th edition of the Night Festival lights up the Bras Basah.Bugis district across three weekends, this year themed around local myths and legends. Light installations, craft markets and late-night museum programming, all free to wander.

4. Village Encounters at Holland Village

District After Dark takes over the Holland Village precinct for a weekend, 4pm to 10pm both days. Run by the Singapore Nightlife Business Association with INVADE as festival director, the team behind Artbox.

KFC x Pokemon: The Ultimate Launch

5. KFC x Pokemon: The Ultimate Launch

COLLAB19 AUG – 29 SEP

Every KFC outlet in Singapore turns into a Pokemon GO PokeStop and Gym for six weeks, and five get full type-themed makeovers. A Japanese Nanban menu runs from $3.95 and the merch is a paid add-on tied to a specific order. It lands in two waves: from 19 August you can get the $14.95 reversible blind pouch, the $32.95 Pikachu car neck pillow set and a free trainer sticker sheet. The $12.95 Poke Ball bucket, the $15.95 gaming chopsticks and the $99 Charizard evolution jacket only start on 9 September, and the jacket is sold at five outlets only, one per customer.

6. Samurai IKE! by McDonald's

McDonald's first Samurai themed Japanese game show, running alongside the Samurai Burger's return. Three challenges, free to join, and you walk away with a Kyoho Grape Cone, Seaweed McShaker Fries or Samurai stickers. The cash rounds are the narrow bit: 22, 23, 29 and 30 August, 11am to 1pm only, $400 to $200 for solo and $800 to $400 for pairs, registration required through the Samurai page on mcdonalds.com.sg. Listings put it beside McDonald's Bugis Junction, but McDonald's own page does not name the venue, so take the location from them when you register.

7. Lilytopia at Flower Dome

FLORAL DISPLAY21 AUG – 27 SEP

Flower Dome goes ancient Egypt for its lily season. Lilies, water lilies and lilies of the Nile planted around hieroglyphic art and stone sculptures. It ends on 27 September, so this is the last full month to catch it, and the same ticket gets you into Cloud Forest with the Jurassic World dinosaurs.

8. Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy

Floral versions of Disney characters at Floral Fantasy, with Toy Story 5 and Frozen making their Singapore debut in the display. It runs to March 2027 so there is no rush, but two things to know for September: Floral Fantasy is shut for maintenance on 1 September, and tripods and camera stands are not allowed inside.

9. Yakiniku-GO Fun to Grill Meat Bombs

A grill-it-yourself meat ball where the filling is decided by a gachapon capsule you roll at the table. One bomb is $4.90, two are $8.90, three are $10.90. The gold capsule is the Ultra Rare tier, the wagyu and Jeju pork. It is a ball rather than a slice, so it needs longer on the grill and a turn, or the middle stays raw. Runs to 2 November, so a weekday beats fighting for a table.

10. All-You-Can-Scoop Tiramisu Fridays

All you can scoop tiramisu at Beast and Butterflies in M Social, $9.90++ a head, Fridays from 6pm and only if you order a main course. It is back by popular demand rather than a permanent fixture, so do not save it for a rainy month.

11. Singapore Oceanarium

The rebuilt aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, opened July 2025 in place of S.E.A. Aquarium. Resorts World Sentosa lists one-day tickets from $55 for adults aged 13 to 59, and from $43 for children aged 4 to 12 and seniors. These are from-prices that rise on peak dates. Check the official operating-hours calendar before you go, it closes early on scattered dates.

12. Munchi Pancakes Pistachio Kunafa

Pistachio kunafa min jiang kueh, the local answer to the Dubai chocolate bar. It is on the menu now, but Munchi has never called it permanent and customers keep asking them to, so treat it as a run that could end without notice.

Borealis at Supertree Grove

13. Borealis at Supertree Grove

A Swiss artist recreates the Northern Lights over Supertree Grove out of light and cloud particles, with a soundtrack written for it. Free, outdoors, and cancelled if it rains during show time. Check the clock before you go in September: from 12 to 27 September it moves to 9pm and runs 15 minutes instead of 30, because of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

14. Jurassic World: The Experience at Cloud Forest

Life-sized animatronic dinosaurs set among the mist and waterfalls of Cloud Forest. Gardens by the Bay lists the combined Flower Dome and Cloud Forest ticket at $34 for adults, $29 for seniors and $26 for children 3 to 12 at the Singapore resident rate, with Cloud Forest alone at $26 adult. Resident rates need proof of residency and often a local bank card at purchase, and non-resident prices are higher. Gardens by the Bay warns the rooms use loud sound effects and flashing lights, worth knowing if you are bringing a child sensitive to either. Last admission is 8pm, half an hour earlier than Flower Dome.

FESTIVAL3 SEP – 6 SEP

The 25th edition of Singapore's biggest alternative music festival, 48 acts across the Esplanade's outdoor waterfront stages and two indoor rooms. The outdoor stages need no ticket at all. Only the Annexe and Powerhouse2 shows ask you to register first, and they fill up.
