Eventful Tables is our restaurant reservation service, and it opens 2 September 2026 at eventful-sg.com/tables. Booking is free, some timings carry a real discount off the food bill, and every booking earns Eventful Coins that come straight off a future bill. It starts with four kitchens: KANTIN at Jewel Changi, Family Mookata's three heartland outlets, Family Hakata's halal mookata buffet, and Epicurean Fusion in Kampong Glam.
Pick a restaurant, pick a timing, book. No app to download, no deposit at the point of booking, and the confirmation sits in your phone's wallet page.
Some timings are plain bookings at the normal price. Others are deal timings, where the restaurant has agreed to take a percentage off the food bill for a handful of tables, usually their quieter hours. The deal is printed on the slot before you book, so there is no fine print to hunt for.
Where a restaurant runs no discount at all, we say so on its page instead of pretending otherwise.
Four kitchens, six bookable listings. KANTIN is the only Bornean restaurant in Singapore, five floors up at Jewel Changi Airport, and worth the trip for the Sarawak laksa alone.
Family Mookata is the $19.90 nett charcoal mookata buffet with live baby lobster you catch yourself, at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun and Jurong West.
Family Hakata is its fully halal sister outlet in AMK, certified by MUIS. And Epicurean Fusion does Muslim-owned halal Italian in Kampong Glam, including a beef Wellington that has no business being $38.
Family Mookata and Family Hakata take 10% off the food bill Mon to Fri, 1pm to 4pm, and 5% off Mon to Thu, 5pm to 8pm. Epicurean Fusion runs Tuesday to Friday: 10% off food at 12:30pm and from 5:30pm to 7pm, and 15% off at 1:30pm and from 7:30pm. Deals cover food only, pause on public holidays, and are capped at five bookings per timing, so the good slots go first.
KANTIN runs no discount. It books at the standard price, and honestly, at their location a discount was never the draw.
Restaurants sit half empty at 3pm and turn people away at 8pm. Deal timings move some of the 8pm crowd into the quiet hours, the restaurant keeps its kitchen busy, and you eat the same food for less.
Every venue on Tables is one we have eaten at and onboarded directly, with their own photos and their actual menu on the listing, not stock images. The list grows from here, and every new restaurant gets its own guide on this blog under the Eventful Tables category.
· Deal timings are capped at five bookings each, so book early in the week for Friday quiet hours.
· The discount applies to the food bill only. Drinks are full price everywhere.
· Deals pause on public holidays at every restaurant. Standard bookings still work.
· Each restaurant has a clean link: eventful-sg.com/tables-kantin, tables-epicurean-fusion, and so on.
Yes. Booking costs nothing and there is no deposit at the point of booking. You pay the restaurant for what you eat, minus the discount if you booked a deal timing.
