Things to Do at Jewel Changi (2026): Rain Vortex Times, Prices
15 October 2026 · By the Eventful team
The three best things to do at Jewel Changi Airport are watching the Rain Vortex light and music show (8pm and 9pm daily, plus 10pm Friday to Sunday), walking the Forest Valley trails, and going up to Canopy Park on Level 5 ($8 standard, $6 residents). Jewel never closes, most shops run 10am to 10pm, and every hour and price below was checked on Jewel's own site on 15 October 2026.

The Light and Music Showcase plays at 8pm and 9pm Monday to Thursday, and at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm on Friday to Sunday, public holidays and the eve of public holidays. Jewel lists no ticket for watching it; it is the middle of the mall.
Our take: go for the last show of the night, when the crowd thins. Eating first? Our Jewel Changi food guide lists all 115 places with unit numbers and hours.
Forest Valley walking trails (open 24 hours, no ticket mentioned on Jewel's page)
Forest Valley is the terraced garden around the waterfall, with entry points from Level 1 to Level 4. It is open 24 hours. The eastern trail passes rocky falls and the western one is misty, and Jewel says to allow about half an hour per trail.
Who it suits: all ages, but not high heels, and luggage is not allowed inside. Our take: most people skip it.
Canopy Park on Level 5: hours and prices
Canopy Park opens 10am to 9pm Monday to Thursday, and 10am to 10pm on Friday to Sunday, public holidays and their eves. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. A ticket is $8 at the standard rate, $6 for Singapore residents, and $5.40 for CapitaStar and Changi Rewards members buying at the Jewel Concierge counters on L1 or L5. It covers the Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden and Topiary Walk. Child tickets are for ages 3 to 12 with a paying adult. Jewel's page carried an advisory that the Bouncing Net and Walking Net ran 2pm to 9pm on 14 to 16 October 2026 for maintenance.
Who it suits: families with kids under 10. Our take: the base ticket is gardens and slides, a good hour with small kids but thin for two adults on its own.
Canopy Bridge, mazes and sky nets: which ticket to buy
The Mastercard Canopy Bridge hangs 23 metres above the ground with a glass floor in the middle. It runs 10am to 9pm and costs $13.90 for adults and $11.90 for children, or $11.90 and $8.90 at resident rates. The Hedge Maze ($13.90 adult, $11.90 child), Mirror Maze ($18.90, $13.90) and Walking Net ($18.90, $13.90) are sold on their own, each including Canopy Park entry, and in bundles (Bundle 1 $39, Bundle 2 $54, Bundle 3 $56, Bundle 4 $71 per adult). Bundle 1 (Canopy Park, bridge, both mazes and the Walking Net) is $39 per adult and $29 per child. Bundle 2 adds one 45-minute Bouncing Net session for $54 and $39. The nets need a minimum height of 110cm.
Who it suits: older kids and groups of friends. Our take: if you will do two or more paid things, a bundle is usually the better deal. If you only want one, pick the bridge.
Changi Experience Studio (Level 4)
This is an indoor attraction about how the airport works, with 20 interactive touchpoints across 10 zones. It opens 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm on weekends and public holidays, last entry 7pm. Standard tickets are $25 per adult and $17 per child or senior. Singapore residents pay $19.80 and $14.80, and a family bundle for two adults and two children or seniors is $59.80. Under-5s go free. It is closed for a private event on 30 October 2026.
Who it suits: plane-mad kids, about 6 and up. Adults without kids can skip it.
Early check-in at Jewel before you fly
The Jewel Early Check-in Lounge is on Level 1 and opens 8am to 11.59pm daily. Changi lists 19 airlines. How early you can drop bags depends on the airline: Singapore Airlines allows 3 to 24 hours before departure (US flights excluded), Scoot 3 to 18 hours (Jeddah excluded), and several others only on the day itself. Some airlines restrict it, for example Turkish 2pm to 8pm on two flights, Cathay 10am to 10pm, Fiji two mornings a week, so check your airline.
Who it suits: anyone flying on one of the listed airlines. Our take: this is what makes Jewel useful, not just pretty. Check in, then spend the afternoon here without a suitcase.
· CapitaStar or Changi Rewards members pay $5.40 for Canopy Park, but only at the Jewel Concierge counters on L1 and L5.
· Leave bags at Left Baggage on L1 before the Forest Valley trails. Charges apply.
· Changi Experience Studio is closed for a private event on 30 October 2026.
