Tampines MRT Bazaar Aug 2025: The 5 Best Food Stalls, Ranked

Our ranking of the Tampines MRT Bazaar in August 2025, top to bottom: Ministry of Spud first, JohnGoat second, Wok Hei Burger third, Famous Mini Pancakes fourth and Matcha Kaki fifth. The bazaar sat beside Tampines MRT on the East West line from 15 August to 13 September 2025 and has ended, so treat this as a cheat sheet for the next time these stalls turn up. The one order we would repeat without thinking is the chilli beef con carne spud.

This one has finished.

It ran until 13 September 2025. We keep the page up because people still search for it and the details are worth having, but do not make the trip on the strength of this article. For what is actually on right now, see things to do this weekend.

In this article
  1. The ranking, 1st to 5th
  2. Where the bazaar was and how long it ran
  3. How to do a bazaar like this properly

The ranking, 1st to 5th

1st: Ministry of Spud. Not every flavour on the menu landed, but the chilli beef con carne with coleslaw was crazy good, and the portion was big enough to share. We gave it its own write-up: the chilli beef con carne spud at Tampines.

2nd: JohnGoat. A charcoal-black base loaded with cheese, sesame and a sticky sauce. The flavours are strong, so get the pulled beef if you prefer something gentler.

3rd: Wok Hei Burger. Really good flavours, but eat it while it is hot. Once it cools the bun goes stale fast, so do not carry it home.

4th: Famous Mini Pancakes. Get the tiramisu one. The coffee taste balances the crazy sweetness, the red velvet does not.

5th: Matcha Kaki. A really good drink on a hot night, but the matcha taste is not very strong. Fine if you like it mild, a letdown if you came for the bitterness.

Where the bazaar was and how long it ran

It sat right beside Tampines MRT on the East West line, under strings of fairy lights, with a sit-down area so you did not have to eat standing. TLK Events (@tlkevents) organised it, and it ran from 15 August to 13 September 2025. Cheeky Signatures was also tagged in our post but did not make the five.

For the rest of the town, our things to do in Tampines guide covers the malls and Our Tampines Hub. If pasar malams are your thing in general, our pasar malam food tier list ranks the usual suspects.

How to do a bazaar like this properly

Go with friends and split everything. Five stalls is too much for one person, and sharing lets you hit the whole list in one visit. Weeknights are calmer than weekends.

Missed this one? Our pasar malam dates for October to December 2026 list the current ones.

At a glance

📍Location: Beside Tampines MRT (EW Line)

Good to know

· Order the Wok Hei Burger last and eat it on the spot. It does not survive the walk home.
