The Black Myth: Wukong Global Concert plays Esplanade Theatre this weekend, Saturday 24 October 2026 at 8pm and Sunday 25 October at 3pm, and SISTIC still had tickets on sale when we checked on 20 October. Tickets run S$78 to S$188 before booking fees, and every ticket comes with a collectible gift bag you pick up at the venue. It is the game's soundtrack played live by a symphony orchestra with Chinese folk instruments, about two hours with a 20-minute interval. Announced earlier this year, it took months to arrive, so if you were waiting, this is the week.
Black Myth: Wukong is the 2024 action game built on Journey to the West, and this concert is its in-game music rearranged for a full orchestra, with Chinese folk instruments woven in. SISTIC lists it as [OMM Presents] with Willow Arts Pte Ltd as the organiser, co-produced with Poly Performing Arts, and it is touring the world under the name Heed the Destiny. Singapore gets two shows. If you have never played the game you will still follow it, the score was written to carry the story on its own, but the people around you will be the ones mouthing the themes.
It is one of the bigger weekend events left on the calendar this month. For the rest, see our things to do in Singapore in October 2026 list.
Two performances only, both at Esplanade Theatre, 1 Esplanade Drive: Saturday 24 October at 8pm and Sunday 25 October at 3pm. SISTIC puts the running time at about 120 minutes including a 20-minute interval, so the Saturday show lets out around 10pm and the Sunday matinee around 5pm. Nearest MRT is Esplanade on the Circle Line, or walk over from City Hall through CityLink Mall.
The rating is General, so kids can come, but no infants in arms or children under 3, and anyone aged 3 and up needs their own ticket. No photography or filming during the show, and the venue does check.
Standard seats are S$188, S$158, S$128, S$98 and S$78 before SISTIC's booking fee. The Esplanade Box and Premier Box are S$188, Box B to G seats are S$98, and restricted view seats are S$158 or S$98. One warning: a restricted view seat at S$158 costs the same as a full-view Standard S$158, so open the seat map before you pay. SG Culture Pass credits are accepted on this event, and there is a 15% Willow Arts discount on Standard categories if you have the password, plus E&Me member discounts of 10% to 15%.
Every ticket comes with a gift bag collected on site. S$78 and S$98 tickets get a commemorative ticket stub, a white brass character ring mystery bag and a portraits pin mystery bag. S$128 and S$158 add a Ma-Ma-Hu-Hu T-shirt mystery bag in a random style and size. S$188 adds a 1/12 scale collectible figure mystery bag, one of four designs. SISTIC says collection is on site only, no mailing, and to watch the organiser's announcements for the exact time and spot.
Three groups, honestly. People who finished the game and want to hear the Yellow Wind Ridge themes with real strings. Chinese orchestra fans who are curious what a game score sounds like with guzheng and dizi in the mix. And parents with a kid who is obsessed with Wukong, since the General rating and the Sunday 3pm slot make it an easy family outing. If none of that is you, S$78 for two hours of a live symphony plus a ring and a pin is still a fair night out.
Looking past this weekend? Our November and December 2026 concert list has what is left this year.
· Go for the S$78 or S$98 Standard seats if money matters: the ring and pin gifts are the same as the dearer tiers, you only lose the T-shirt and figure.
· Check the seat map before buying a S$158 seat, some S$158 seats are restricted view.
· Arrive early. Gift collection is on site with your ticket, and two thousand people collecting at once takes time.
· Sunday 3pm is the one to pick for kids, it ends around 5pm.

No. It is a full orchestral concert of the game's music, written to carry the Journey to the West story. Knowing the game adds recognition, not understanding.
