Student Food Deals in Singapore 2026: 7 Student Meals and Discounts, Checked

The best student food deals in Singapore right now are Eighteen Chefs' student bundles at $8.90 to $12.90 with a free-flow drink bar, Jack's Place's $8 nett set meal, and Yoshinoya's halal $8.50 bowl and drink. Most of the seven deals below run on weekdays; Eighteen Chefs' poster says all day, every day, and not every brand asks for a student card. We checked each one on the brand's own page on 15 October 2026.

2. Jack's Place, $8 nett. Student Set Meal, Monday to Friday, 11am to 5pm, dine-in only, excluding public holidays and special occasions. Nett, so no GST or service charge on top. 12 participating outlets, by the promo post's outlet tags. It was $9.90++ when we listed it in June, so this one got cheaper. No end date shown, checked 15 Oct 2026.
3. Yoshinoya, $8.50. One bowl plus one drink, Monday to Friday, dessert +$3. The only source is Yoshinoya's homepage banner, which lists no student-card rule, outlet scope or end date. MUIS halal-certified at every Singapore outlet. No end date shown, checked 15 Oct 2026.
4. Swensen's, from $8.80. One main plus a soft drink or soup, dine-in, Monday to Friday, 11am to 4.30pm, not on public holidays or eves. One meal per student pass, and you show it before ordering. Before GST and service charge, so budget about $10.55 with service charge and GST. While stocks last, by Swensen's, checked 15 Oct 2026.
$10 and up: sit-down meals worth the extra
5. Hot Tomato, $10.50 to $14.50 nett. Student Lunch Special, weekdays 11am to 5.30pm, with a free lemon iced tea, lime juice or Coke. Five mains, from carbonara to NZ grass-fed sirloin. No end date shown, checked 15 Oct 2026.
6. Nando's, 30% off Quick Lunch Meals. Seven meals from $11.20 after the discount, by Nando's own post, nett prices with no service charge. Flash a valid student pass. Nando's April post said every outlet; its June post names Star Vista, Tampines Mall and Jurong Point, weekdays 1pm to 5pm, dine-in, so go by the later one. 7. Suki-Ya, $3 off the regular buffet. Monday to Thursday, all outlets, 80-minute buffet with free-flow drinks. Show a valid student card before dining. The discount covers the student's buffet only, not the table, and not on public holidays or eves. Bookings up to 5 guests. Still on its site on 15 Oct 2026, no end date shown.
Jinjja Chicken also runs a student meal ordered at the counter, by its page, which names no card rule, on weekdays at every outlet except Sengkang Grand. Not a student deal, but cheap for a group: $19.90 nett buffets in AMK
Two AMK buffets are worth knowing for a class outing, even with no student discount at all. Family Mookata AMK at Blk 215 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 is $19.90 nett per adult (minimum 2 pax) for the whole counter: marinated meats, live baby lobster, lok lok and cheese dip. Family Hakata AMK at 728 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 is the MUIS-certified halal version at the same price. Both open 1pm to 11pm, last orders 9.30pm.
Booking on Eventful Tables gets you this, exactly as the outlets set it: Mon to Fri, 1pm to 4pm: 10% off all food. Mon to Thu, 5pm to 8pm: 5% off. · Nett beats a lower ++ price. $8.80 at Swensen's ends up near $10.55, more than Jack's Place.
