Student Meal Deals Under $12: What Changed Since June
Five weekday student deals worth knowing, all needing a valid student pass: LiHo classic milk tea with pearls at $2.20, Swensen's mains from $8.80, Jack's Place, Fish & Co at $11.95 with free-flow drinks, and Nando's at 30% off. One of those has changed since we first listed it, and it changed in your favour.
The five, with the current numbers
LiHo Tea: Classic Milk Tea medium with pearls at $2.20, weekdays 1pm to 6pm, student ID or school uniform, up to 3 cups, not on public holidays. Large is $1 more. It is the cheapest thing on this list by a distance.
Jack's Place: this is the one that moved. In June it was $9.90++ with a free side. From 27 August 2026 it is $8 nett for a weekday lunch set with a choice of steak, chicken or pasta plus a soft drink, Monday to Friday 11am to 5pm, at 12 participating outlets. Nett, not plus plus, which is the actual win.
Fish & Co.: $11.95 student meal on selected mains with free-flow soft drinks. Around $3.50 more gets you a specialty drink, soup or drumlets.
Nando's: 30% off student meals on weekdays 11am to 5pm at selected outlets including Jurong Point, Tampines Mall and The Star Vista. Meals from about $10.40 after the discount. Flash the card.
What to actually order, and the catch
If you want the most food for the money, Jack's Place at $8 nett is now unbeatable on this list, because nett means the number on the poster is the number you pay. $8.80 at Swensen's becomes closer to $10 once service charge and GST land.
The catch on all of these is the same and it is time, not price. Every deal here dies between 4.30pm and 6pm, and none of them run on weekends. A deal that ends at 4.30pm is useless if your last class finishes at 5.
Deals move. This list is current as of 5 September 2026 and the Jack's Place price is proof of how fast that can shift, so check the outlet before you commit a group of eight.
