ONOSHI was the reason we went back for a second look. The chicken yakitori comes off the grill properly charred, sticky with glaze, and gets laid over a thick layer of potato salad instead of rice. That combo sounds odd for a pasar malam and works anyway, because the cold, creamy potato takes the edge off all that sweet char.

Pisang Keju: the 6-piece with Nutella

Pisang keju is the Indonesian street snack of banana with cheese, and this stall did the 6-piece original with a Nutella option. It is the dessert you buy to share and then do not share. Get it last so it is still warm when you sit down.

The same Sembawang stretch is a regular bazaar spot. Ministry of Spud showed up at a later one with its chilli con nachos, so the stall line-up changes every edition.

Where it was and when it ended

The bazaar was set up opposite Sembawang MRT, next to Sun Plaza, and was organised by TLK Events. Per our post, it ran until 7 September 2025. We do not have a confirmed opening date or daily hours for this edition, so we have left them out rather than guess.
