Quan Shui Wet Market held its SG60 Bazaar on 30 and 31 August 2025 at 50 Tagore Lane, Upper Thomson, from 10am to 6pm. Entry was free, but you had to register on Quan Shui's website because tickets were limited. Our cover called it Singapore's first wet market bazaar. That was how it was billed, and we never verified the first part, but a weekend market inside an actual wet market was a fun idea either way. It has ended, so here is what was on.
It ran until 31 August 2025. We keep the page up because people still search for it and the details are worth having, but do not make the trip on the strength of this article. For what is actually on right now, see things to do this weekend.
Quan Shui's own page promised over 27 vendors across food, drinks, retail and experiences, each doing its own take on SG60. Names we tagged included Cheeselads, Slurp Your Oysters, Eat My CB, Charrou, Fossa Chocolate, Plunt Co, The 1925 Brewing Co and EQUAL. Quan Shui also flagged SG60 collabs only sold at the bazaar: wet market T-shirts, bread, pastries and chocolate.
Cheeselads was one of the vendors, and we later hosted founders like them at our Eventful x Cheeselads networking night.
Entry was free, the workshops were not. Quan Shui listed a therapy horse meet and greet with EQUAL at $20, a roast meats and craft beer pairing by Charrou and The 1925 Brewing Co at $35, a cheese and chocolate session by Cheeselads and Fossa Chocolate at $38, and a Plunt Co boxscape workshop at $38. Money from the horse session went to EQUAL's therapy programmes, with a fundraising target of $6,000 for a horse named Siew Mai.
Charrou's bazaar menu had crispy pork belly, crystal char siew and bacon siu yuk, with buns from $5.50.
Tagore Lane is an industrial estate off Upper Thomson, not somewhere you wander past. Quan Shui pointed people to Springleaf MRT as the nearest station, or buses 138, 167 and 169 stopping near Tagore Road. Drivers could use the sheltered carpark in the building and take the lift to B1. The bazaar was sheltered, so it ran rain or shine, and pets were welcome in the outdoor areas.
Quan Shui itself is a working wet market that also delivers online, closed on Mondays. If you like this kind of weekend market, our blog covers the next ones as they are announced.
ยท Quan Shui's bazaars need registration even when entry is free, sign up early.
ยท Springleaf MRT plus a short walk beats hunting for parking in Tagore.
ยท Book paid workshops ahead, they have small caps.
