NOMADS at 2 The Oval in Seletar runs happy hour from 3pm to 8pm, per its drinks menu: Carlsberg pints drop from $13 to $11, other draughts from $15 to $13, and cocktails from $16 to $13 a glass. Prices are before GST and 10% service. Bar bites start at $13.
The menu marks happy hour as 3pm to 8pm. It does not say which days, so ask when you book. Here is what drops.
Draught pints: Carlsberg Green $11 (usual $13). Kronenbourg Blanc, Connors Stout and Jing A Worker's Pale Ale $13 (usual $15). Towers: Carlsberg $66 (usual $72), the others $76 (usual $82). Bottles: Corona, Somersby and Sapporo $12 (usual $14).
Cocktails: all $13 in happy hour, $16 otherwise. Moonlit (whisky, ume plum, cucumber, green tea) and Camping Lady (gin, Cointreau, lime) are the house favourites. Mocktails are $12 all day.
What to eat with it
Bar bites are the right order here. Fried Broccoli with Wasabi Mayo $13, Onion Rings $13, Spam Chips $13, Lamb Skewers $16, Truffle Fries $16 and Mala Sticky Wings $18.

The setting, and the band
You drink on a lawn under big trees at a black-and-white house, in camping chairs. NOMADS also books live music on many nights; our first visit write-up has how the band nights work.
Happy hour ends at 8pm, which is about when the breeze gets good. Arrive at 6pm, order your round before 8, then stay for dinner.
Getting there and booking
NOMADS is at 2 The Oval, Seletar Aerospace Park. There is no MRT within walking distance. If you are drinking, take a Grab both ways. Open Mon, Wed and Thu 11am to 11pm, Fri and Sat 8:30am to midnight, Sun 8:30am to 11pm, closed Tuesdays.
You can book NOMADS free on Eventful Tables for up to 7. There is no booking discount; the happy hour prices are NOMADS' own. You must be 18 or older to drink.
