For a casual date night at Suntec, 2GATHER at Suntec Tower 2 does a Thai and Peranakan dinner for two for around $60 in food, before charges. Online bookings are made for exactly one or two people, and Monday to Thursday bookings get 10% off food.
Most sharing restaurants punish a table of two: big plates, small stomachs. 2GATHER's dishes are $13 to $21 each, so two people can try four things without wasting half of it. And Eventful bookings here are for 1 or 2 people, so the table is literally set up for you.

Our order, at 2GATHER's listed prices: Ayam Buah Keluak ($20.90) for the conversation starter, Pad Thai ($14.90) as the safe bet, Chilli Kang Kong ($12.90), rice, and Mango Sticky Rice ($12.90) to share. That is about $63 of food, plus drinks. Prices are before GST and a 10% service charge, per the printed menu.

Thai Milk Tea is $4.50, Yunnan Specialty Coffee, brewed at your table, is $6. If you want wine, 2GATHER sells by the bottle: Oysterbay Sauvignon Blanc $68, Oysterbay Merlot $72, Freixenet Pinot Grigio $78. Pricey for two unless you are celebrating.
Not drinking? The Root Beer Float at $9.50 has no business being this fun on a date. You need to be 18 or older to order alcohol.
