NOMADS at 2 The Oval, Seletar Aerospace Park, is pet-friendly at its outdoor tables, which sit on a lawn in front of the house. Pets are not allowed indoors. It is open every day except Tuesday, and you can book a table free.
NOMADS' own listing says it plainly: outdoor seating is pet-friendly. Inside is not. So when you book, ask for an outdoor table, and say you are bringing a dog.
The outdoor area is camping chairs and tables on grass, in an estate of old colonial houses under big trees. It is about as dog-shaped a cafe as Singapore has. Tents are also available, subject to availability. Our first visit is written up in NOMADS Seletar: camping cafe at The Oval.
Best time to bring a dog
Morning or evening. Midday on a grass lawn in Singapore is hard on paws and on people. NOMADS opens at 8:30am on Fri to Sun, which is the best window: cool, quiet, and the lawn is not packed yet.

What to order while the dog naps
Keep it easy to eat with one hand on a leash. Lamb Skewers $16, Fried Broccoli with Wasabi Mayo $13 and Truffle Fries $16 all work. For a proper meal, the mess tin rice bowls are $18 to $25.

Getting there and booking
NOMADS is at 2 The Oval, Singapore 797860. No MRT is close, so it is a drive or a pet-friendly Grab. There is open-air parking around the estate. Open Mon, Wed and Thu 11am to 11pm, Fri and Sat 8:30am to midnight, Sun 8:30am to 11pm, closed Tuesdays.
You can book NOMADS free on Eventful Tables for up to 7 people, and add a note that you want outdoor seating for a dog. There is no booking discount.
Good to know
· Ask for an outdoor table. Indoor seating is not pet-friendly.
· Go at 8:30am on a weekend, before the lawn heats up.
