NOMADS is a camping-themed cafe and bar at 2 The Oval, Seletar Aerospace Park, Singapore 797860, and it is open every day except Tuesday. Mess-tin mains, tent seating on the lawn and a live band most nights are the draw. We filmed there in September 2025 and called it the cafe version of immaculate vibes. In October 2026 it is still running on the same closed-on-Tuesday schedule, with a live music lineup posted for every night it opens. One thing before anything else: bring mosquito repellent. The whole estate is old colonial houses under big trees, and you will be eating outdoors.
NOMADS describes itself as camping vibes with Western flavours, and that is a fair summary. Food arrives in metal mess tins, drinks in steel cups, and the tables are spread across the grounds of a black-and-white house, with tents you can ask for when you book, subject to availability. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, not indoors, which puts it on our list of pet-friendly restaurants in Singapore.
The shot that did it for us was a dessert in a mess tin: a custard-yellow base piled with strawberries, blueberries and roasted hazelnuts, with a torched brulee top in the next tin over. We could not match that exact item to a named dish on NOMADS' current channels, so ask what the tin dessert is that week rather than ordering off our photo.
The format is the point more than any single dish: Western mains and sharing plates in mess tins, beer and cocktails from the bar, and the dessert tins. NOMADS' own booking page lists one rule worth planning around. The kitchen closes two hours before the cafe does, and only bar bites, desserts and drinks run until an hour before closing. Turn up late for a full dinner and you will be eating fries. If a lazy weekend meal is the plan, it fits the same brief as the places in our best brunch in Singapore list, just with more grass.
NOMADS' bio says live band Thursday to Monday, and the lineup it posted in May 2026 had an act on every night it opens: Jeff Ng on Mondays, then different local acts Wednesday through Sunday. The Wednesday to Sunday sets play indoors on level 2, which is not pet friendly, while the Monday set is outdoors on level 1, so if the dog is coming, Monday is your music night.
Bookings run through NOMADS' Bistrochat page, linked in its Instagram bio, with slots from noon to 9.30pm. A $10 per guest card hold secures the table and is released when you arrive, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before, and the table is held for 30 minutes. If you are coming for the band, leave a note on the booking so they seat you with a view of it.
There is no MRT within walking distance. Most people drive or take a Grab to 2 The Oval, the loop road in the colonial black-and-white estate at Seletar Aerospace Park. The address is easy to find on maps and the cafe sits right on the loop. Go after 6pm for the breeze and the band, and put repellent on before you sit down, not after the first bite.
ยท Bring mosquito repellent. We were not joking in the caption. You are eating on a lawn under old trees.
ยท Closed Tuesdays. The kitchen stops two hours before closing, so do not arrive late expecting a full meal.
ยท Ask for a tent when you book on the Bistrochat page. They go by availability, not by request on the day.
ยท Only the outdoor tables are pet friendly. The Wednesday to Sunday live band plays indoors on level 2, Monday's plays outdoors.
No. NOMADS at 2 The Oval, Seletar Aerospace Park, is closed every Tuesday and open the other six days, as stated on its own Instagram bio as of October 2026.
Yes, at the outdoor tables only. Indoor seating, including the level 2 space where the Wednesday to Sunday live band plays, is not pet friendly. The Monday live set is outdoors on level 1.
Booking is recommended, especially for tent seating and live band nights. NOMADS takes reservations through its Bistrochat page linked in its Instagram bio, with slots from noon to 9.30pm and a $10 per guest card hold that is released on arrival.
NOMADS is at 2 The Oval, Singapore 797860, inside the colonial black-and-white estate at Seletar Aerospace Park. There is no MRT within walking distance, so drive or take a Grab.
NOMADS' booking page says the kitchen closes two hours before closing time, with bar bites, desserts and drinks available until one hour before closing.
