For a year-end team dinner at Jewel Changi Airport, KANTIN on level 5 takes up to 8 people per booking and feeds a table on Sarawak sharing plates for about $36 to $52 a head before drinks. It is open daily, bookings run 11am to 9pm, and booking is free. There is no discount; you pay menu price.
Year-end dinners die at long tables where everyone orders their own plate and talks to the person next to them. KANTIN's menu is built to share: platters on banana leaf, satay, smokehouse fish. Everyone reaches for the same food, which does more for team spirit than any speech.
It is also a talking point. KANTIN is a Sarawakian restaurant, which most of your team has never tried. Our guide to Sarawak food in Singapore explains the dishes, so you can sound like you planned this.
Two Headhunter Feast Platters, $336. Each is listed for 3 to 5 people: smoky BBQ meats and tiger prawns with vegetables, belacan dip, pansuh soup, purple rice and a lemongrass pandan drink. More on whether one is enough in our Headhunter platter review.
Add two Sarawak Laksa ($24 each) to share, Belacan Paku ($15) and Gula Apong Chicken Satay ($14). That is $413 for 8, about $52 a head before drinks. Want it cheaper? Drop to one platter and add a Superdry Laksa ($20) and Rainforest Fried Rice ($20), and you land at $285, about $36 a head.
KANTIN serves beer, cocktails and Sarawak rice wine: Borneo Sling $26, Cloud Forest $24, tuak at $10 a shot or $25 for three. Our tuak explainer covers the rice wine. Non-drinkers get the Sarawak Teh C Special ($10) or a Coconut Shake ($12).
KANTIN is not halal. If someone on your team eats halal only, this is the wrong pick. Family Hakata in Ang Mo Kio is MUIS certified and we wrote about it as a halal year-end team lunch.
Jewel gets busy in December, with school holidays from 21 November and the airport crowd on top. Book a weekday if you can. Christmas Eve, 24 December 2026, is a Thursday, and Christmas Day is a Friday public holiday, so expect those nights to fill first.
