Isetan Tsukimi Matsuri 2025, SingPost Centre: Honest Food Review

Isetan Tsukimi Matsuri 2025, SingPost Centre: Honest Food Review

Isetan's Tsukimi Matsuri Japanese food fair ran from 24 September to 5 October 2025 in the Level 1 atrium of SingPost Centre, 10 Eunos Road 8, open 11am to 9pm daily and 11am to 8pm on the last day. It was a mall-atrium fair, blue canopies over rows of counters, takoyaki and deep-fried stalls on the ground floor, and we filmed it from the level above. Honest take up front: it was good food at department-store prices, worth a visit if you were already at Paya Lebar, not a cross-island trip. The fair is over; this is the record.

This one has finished.

It ran until 5 October 2025. We keep the page up because people still search for it and the details are worth having, but do not make the trip on the strength of this article. For what is actually on right now, see things to do this weekend.

What the Tsukimi Matsuri was like

Tsukimi means moon viewing, and Isetan pegs this fair to Mid-Autumn each year. The 2025 edition moved into SingPost Centre's atrium, a short walk from Paya Lebar MRT, with stalls under blue canopies and paper lanterns strung between them. From the railing upstairs you could see the whole layout at once, which is more than you can say for most of these fairs, and the atrium kept it air-conditioned.

Stalls Isetan's own collab posts named for this run included Feal with handmade pies from Kumamoto, Ajino Hoshino with seaweed udon, Maruhachi castella, Hokkaido Sapporo Inaho with jumbo ikameshi, and sakes from Ishikawa. The counters we filmed were the ones you would expect, mini takoyaki, a deep-fried stall and an apple sweets stand, all sold in small portions for walking and grazing. If you want the fuller Japanese fair comparison, our blog has covered a few, and for how this sits against the pasar malam circuit the same month see our pasar malam food tier list.

Was the food worth the price

Mostly yes, with the usual caveat. A department store fair charges what the brand is worth, not what the ingredients cost, so a tray of takoyaki or a single pie runs well above pasar malam money. What you get for that is product made by the actual Japanese maker, in a clean air-conditioned atrium with seats nearby. Our rule at these fairs: spend on the things you cannot get at a night market, the stuffed squid, the castella, the regional pies, and skip the deep-fried snacks, which taste the same at a quarter of the price under a tent.

Timing is the other half. The fair opened at 11am daily, and mall atrium fairs are at their easiest at weekday lunch. Dinner and weekends are when the counters back up.

Isetan in Singapore after this fair

SingPost Centre has no Isetan store, so this was a pop-up fair. The store footprint itself has shrunk since. Isetan's Tampines household floor ran a moving-out sale from 17 October to 9 November 2025, and Isetan at NEX closed on 26 April 2026, which we wrote up in Isetan NEX closed after 15 years. Isetan's own store page on 20 October 2026 lists two Orchard Road stores, Isetan Scotts at Shaw House and Isetan Wisma Atria.

The fairs keep going under seasonal names, Sakura, Hanabi, Tsukimi, at different malls each time. The venue and dates change every run, so check @isetansg or SingPost Centre's own events page before you plan around one.

At a glance

📍Location: SingPost Centre, 10 Eunos Road 8, Singapore 408600
🗓️When: 24th Sep to 5th Oct 2025
⏰Time: 11am to 9pm

Good to know

· Weekday lunch is the quiet window at any mall atrium fair. Dinner and weekends mean queues around the counters.

· Portions are snack-sized and priced like a department store. Budget for two or three things, not a full meal.

· The atrium is air-conditioned with seating nearby, which is the main reason to pick this over an outdoor fair in September.

· Isetan's fairs move between malls. Check @isetansg for the next one rather than SingPost Centre specifically.
