How the game actually works

Five questions, four correct to win, decided there and then. No entry form, no tagging, no waiting for a draw. We film it, they take the money, everyone goes back to their afternoon.

Most people fail on the same kind of question, the one where they answer what they think is the right answer instead of what the other person would really say. That gap is the entire bit.

This is separate from our monthly draw. That one is explained in how the $50 monthly giveaway works.

Why we do it in public

Because it is the only format where you find out instantly whether something is funny or not. A caption can be workshopped. Somebody standing in front of you with a microphone cannot be.

It is also how we meet people who follow us and never comment. We have bumped into readers doing this more than once, which is the actual reason the caption says follow us and we might bump into you.
