Free Ice Cream Now or $50 and a Meal With a Catch: Our Street Game, Part 1
Part 1 of our street game: we stopped strangers with two choices, a free ice cream cone right now, or $50 and a free meal of their choice, with the catch that they have to finish the entire meal in two minutes. Most people said no, thank you, one girl said "a bit busy", one guy went "ice cream hor" and took the cone, and one took the bet. The video ends with "follow us for part 2", which is now up.
What people actually chose
The honest count from the reel: a lot of "no" and "in a rush", which is the normal response to two strangers with a camera in a mall. The first yes took the ice cream on the spot, which is the correct choice and we said so. The one who took the $50 and the meal is the reason there is a part 2. He picked his meal at a McDonald's kiosk and the two-minute timer did the rest.
