For a Christmas Eve dinner under $20 a head in 2026, Family Mookata's buffet is $19.90 nett for adults at Ang Mo Kio, Jurong West and Yishun. Christmas Eve falls on Thursday 24 December, which is not a public holiday, so the 5% off food deal on 5pm to 8pm bookings applies. Christmas Day, Friday 25 December, is a public holiday with no deal.
Family Mookata's Eventful Tables deal never runs on public holidays. In 2026 the calendar is kind: Thursday 24 December is a normal weekday, and the deal covers Mon to Thu, 5pm to 8pm. So a Christmas Eve dinner at 6pm gets 5% off food.
Christmas Day, Friday 25 December, is a public holiday. Same $19.90 buffet, no discount. The same logic holds for New Year's Eve, Thursday 31 December, which gets the 5pm to 8pm deal, and New Year's Day, Friday 1 January 2027, which does not.
What $19.90 gets you on a festive night
It is not turkey, but it is a lot of food. One flat price covers marinated pork and chicken, smoked duck, live baby lobster you catch from the tank, crayfish, flower crab, scallops, prawns, noodles, vegetables, lok lok, ice popsicles, fruit and cake. Kids 100cm to 140cm are $14.90.
Here is the catch. Each discounted timing takes only 5 bookings. On Christmas Eve those will go early. Book in November, pick a 5pm or 6pm slot, and you are in.
