No MRT station in Singapore feeds you like Woodlands. The open space beside the station hosts a pasar malam several times a year, and we have eaten our way through every recent edition so you know exactly which stalls to hit when it returns.
Bazaar stalls rotate, so treat this as a guide to the regulars plus the permanent spots that hold the fort between editions.
The anchor event. Recent editions ran May to June 2025, October 2025 and December 2025 to January 2026, and each time we filmed the prices of all the good stuff so you know what you are walking into. When the tents go up, clear your evening.
The loaded spud specialists were the star of the October 2025 edition. Writing about their chilli beef spud made us hungry all over again, which is the truest review we can give.
Our three must-trys from the last full bazaar run: Sugar Mama Lah's tiramisu, Famous Mini Pancake and the Ministry of Spud stand. All three follow the bazaar circuit, so this trio is your default order at any Woodlands edition.
The smelly tofu stall that tested our team's friendship. It really does smell like that, and it was definitely an experience. Order it for the group content, keep a drink handy.
The permanent pick. Insanely good dumplings and prawn noodles, and it is halal, which makes it one of the few halal prawn mee options anywhere in the north. Worth the detour even when no bazaar is on.
Separate from the regular pasar malam, the Ramadan bazaar brings out traditional kampung-style food you rarely see at the commercial bazaars. The February 2026 edition finally delivered on that front and the traditional stalls were honestly so good.
There is no fixed calendar. It has returned several times a year recently, including editions in May 2025, October 2025 and December 2025 to January 2026, always in the space beside Woodlands MRT. We post each new edition on @eventful_sg when it is confirmed.
Plenty at the bazaars, and year round there is Udang Udang Halal Prawn Noodles at Koufu HQ Woodlands, which we rate highly.
