Causeway Point is the mall on Woodlands MRT and the bus interchange, and by its own description the largest mall in Woodlands, with over 200 shops and places to eat. For food it has 81 places to eat, and the floor logic is simple: Basement 1 is the kiosk floor, Level 5 is the restaurant floor, and the two food courts sit on Levels 4 and 7.
Basement 1 holds 42 of the 81, most of them kiosks on the walk in from the station: Ya Kun, Jian Bo Shui Kueh, WOK HEY, Bengawan Solo, Mr. Coconut and a row of drink stands. Level 1 is the fast food row, with McDonald's open 24 hours by the mall directory. Level 5 is where the sit-down dinners are, Dian Xiao Er, Crystal Jade, Sushiro, Shabu Sai and Bali Thai in a line. Food Republic is on Level 4 and Bagus, the halal food court, is alone on Level 7. Every place below carries its unit number and, where the mall publishes it, opening hours, straight from the mall's own store directory.

Tonkatsu, with the brand naming Hokkaido Shirabaka pork on its own site and tonkatsu and miso sauces to go with it. ENbiton's own locations page lists this outlet at #B1-19, 11am to 10pm daily, same as the mall. A proper sit-down in a basement that is otherwise kiosks, and the pick when the Level 5 queues are long.

Kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and kopi, in the basement on the walk from the MRT. Ya Kun's own store finder lists this outlet as a Ya Kun Family Cafe at #B1-23, 7.30am to 9pm daily with last order half an hour before, half an hour later than the mall directory's 8.30pm. The breakfast set before work, and a sit-down kopi when the kiosks are standing only.

Wok-fried rice and handmade noodles built to order, pick the protein and the add-ons, by the brand's own description, halal certified by the mall directory. WOK HEY's own location page lists this kiosk at #B1-K10, 10.30am to 10pm, half an hour earlier to open than the mall directory. A take-out concept by its own words, so carry the box up to Food Republic or home.

Chwee kueh with the chye poh on top, from the Tiong Bahru stall that the mall listing says held a Michelin Bib Gourmand two years running. Jian Bo's own locations page gives this kiosk #B1-K32, 7am to 10pm, same as the mall. A plate on the way to the train, eaten standing.

Gyudon, the beef bowl, from the chain whose own site says every Singapore outlet is halal certified by MUIS. Yoshinoya's own locations page gives Causeway Point 10am to 9.30pm daily, an hour earlier to open and half an hour later to close than the mall directory, and no unit, so the #01-12 is the mall's. Cheap, fast and in the Level 1 fast food row.

Fried chicken and honey-butter biscuits, halal certified by the mall directory. Texas Chicken's own locations page lists this outlet as 24 hours, while the mall directory says 10am to 10pm, so if you are counting on a 3am meal, call first. Either way the biscuits are the order.

Soya milk and soya snacks at the kiosk by the Level 1 doors, halal certified by the mall directory. Mr Bean's own store locator gives this outlet 6.30am to 10.30pm daily, half an hour earlier than the mall directory, and lists wholegrain rice bowls and soy porridge here. The earliest open in the mall by either source, so it is the breakfast for the 7am train.

Flame-seared donburi, grilled meats over rice with the brand's own house meat sauce, by its own description. Aburi-EN's own locations page lists this outlet at #02-09B, 11am to 10pm daily, matching the mall. A one-bowl solo lunch on Level 2, fast enough for a weekday.

Cantonese soups made fresh daily from scratch, by the brand's own listing, with rice and dishes around them. Lao Huo Tang's own locations page gives this outlet 11am to 10pm daily with last order 9.15pm, an hour later than the mall directory's 9pm close. A tureen of soup for the table and a plate of rice each is the sit-down dinner on Level 3.

Halal dim sum, handmade by its own description, from a brand that opened its first outlet in 2016 by the mall listing. The Dim Sum Place's own site lists this outlet at #03-31, 10.30am to 9.30pm Monday to Thursday and 10am to 10pm Friday to Sunday, same as the mall, and calls itself halal certified. One of four outlets on its own site. The 10am weekend open makes it the halal dim sum breakfast.

The main food court, on Level 4. Food Republic's own outlet page lists 17 stalls and three mini restaurants here in a white garden look, and names them: fish soup, Klang bak kut teh, yong tau foo, beef noodles, Hong Kong roast meats, a banana leaf stall and a Toast Box counter among them. 10am to 10pm by the mall directory, since the brand's page gives no hours. The easiest lunch for a group that cannot agree.

Thai and Indonesian under one roof, halal certified by the mall directory. Bali Thai's own stores page lists this outlet at #05-05, 11.30am to 10pm with last order 9.30pm, where the mall directory says 9.15pm. The Level 5 restaurant for a mixed group where everyone can eat, and worth a booking on a weekend night.

Sushi, sashimi and set meals at mid-range prices, by the brand's own description. Ichiban Boshi's own site lists Causeway Point among its outlets, with no online booking for this one, so call ahead. The unit and hours here are the mall directory's: 11.30am on weekdays, 11am on weekends. The family Japanese dinner on Level 5 when nobody wants a conveyor belt.

Cantonese favourites with the flavours of Hong Kong's restaurant scene, by the brand's own listing. Crystal Jade's own site gives this outlet 11am to 10pm on weekdays and 10.30am to 10pm on weekends and public holidays, last order 9.30pm, a longer day than the mall directory's 11.30am to 9.30pm. Go with the shop. The 10.30am weekend open makes it the Level 5 brunch.

Herbal roast duck, the dish the chain built its name on, with Cherry Valley ducks marinated in Chinese herbs and roasted daily by the brand's own description. Dian Xiao Er's own outlets page lists this one at #05-11, 11am to 9.30pm Monday to Thursday and to 10pm Friday to Sunday and public holidays, last order half an hour before, and it takes bookings online. Order the duck for the table and build the rest around it.

Conveyor belt sushi from the chain that calls itself Japan's number one kaiten sushi, with more than 670 outlets by the mall listing. Sushiro Singapore's own location page gives this outlet 11am to 10pm, last order 9.30pm, matching the mall. Weekend dinner means a queue, so come early or late.

The halal food court, alone on Level 7. The mall directory lists 12 stalls of halal certified hawker food and international dishes, air conditioned, open from 8am. Kopitiam's own Bagus page lists Causeway Point among its locations but gives no hours, so the 8am is the mall's figure. The quiet floor when Level 5 is full, and the easy halal lunch for a group.
The 17 above are the ones we would send a friend to. For completeness, here is the rest of Causeway Point's food directory, 64 more places, 81 in total. 35 of the 81 are halal certified. Unit numbers and halal certification come from Causeway Point's own store directory and are re-checked daily, last on 7 October 2026. Opening hours are the ones the directory publishes and change without notice.
