What is inside the 12 worlds

The organisers, TSUKURU and M Experience, list the headline pieces: the bath house from Spirited Away, which they call the world's first three-dimensional recreation at eight metres tall, Totoro at the bus stop waiting for the Catbus, a life-sized Ohmu from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the Guchokipanya bakery from Kiki's Delivery Service, a Princess Mononoke forest, and scenes from The Boy and the Heron. Howl's Moving Castle is the one that stopped us: a walking house made of pipes, chimneys and chicken legs, at full scale.

This is not the same show as The World of Studio Ghibli, which ran at ArtScience Museum from 4 October 2024 to 2 February 2025. That one was theatrical sets inside gallery rooms. This one is a purpose-built 3,500 square metre space on the lawn, and the organiser calls it the largest presentation of the exhibition to date. If you did the ArtScience one and felt it was cramped on a weekend, that is the thing this version is trying to fix.

How much do tickets cost

Singaporeans and PRs pay $39 for an adult and $29 for concession, which covers children aged 3 to 12 and seniors 65 and up. Standard admission for everyone else is $49 adult and $43 concession on off-peak days, $55 and $49 on peak days. Kids 2 and under go in free. Klook is the official ticketing partner and the only place to buy right now.

Early bird runs from 12 September to 17 December 2026: every adult ticket bought in that window comes with a limited-edition gift while stocks last. AsiaOne also lists a $48 No Face Fortune Coin bundle on Klook that includes a pre-sale gift with an adult ticket. If you are going anyway, buying before 17 December is the obvious move, because the ticket price does not change, only the gift disappears.

Getting there and when to go

The West Lawn is at Gardens by the Bay, 18 Marina Gardens Drive, S(018953). Bayfront MRT on the Circle and Downtown lines is the usual way in, and Gardens by the Bay MRT on the Thomson-East Coast line also puts you inside the Gardens. Hours are 10am to 7pm every day of the run.

The run opens the week before Christmas and closes after the June holidays, so it swallows both school breaks plus Chinese New Year. Our honest advice: skip the December opening weeks unless you have to bring kids, and go on a weekday in late January or February when the queues at the bath house will actually let you take a photo without twelve strangers in it.
