McDonald's Singapore launched pistachio soft serve on 28 May 2026: a Pistachio Cone at $1.30, a Pistachio Hot Fudge Sundae at $2.90 and a Pistachio Oreo McFlurry at $3.95, at dessert kiosks and participating outlets while stocks lasted. It was a limited run and it has since sold through. "All the pistachio lovers rejoice" was the caption, and given that 2026 was the year Singapore put pistachio on everything, it was less a launch than a formality.
Three items, all built on a pale green pistachio soft serve. The cone at $1.30 was the one to get: cheapest, and the cleanest read on the flavour, which was nutty rather than the sweet almond-essence green you get in cheaper pistachio ice creams. The sundae at $2.90 added hot fudge, which works with pistachio better than it has any right to. The Oreo McFlurry at $3.95 was the crowd pick and the first to run out at most kiosks.
There was also a twist cone with the vanilla, at the same $1.30, for people who wanted to hedge.
This was the McDonald's entry in a year where pistachio kunafa took over the dessert menu of half the island. Krispy Kreme did pistachio doughnuts, BreadTalk did a pistachio kunafa shio pan, and Munchi Pancakes did the kunafa too. At $1.30, the McDonald's cone was the cheapest way to check whether you actually like pistachio or just like the colour.
The run is over. McDonald's dessert kiosks rotate flavours every couple of months, so watch the app for whatever replaces it.
· This run has ended. Check the McDonald's app for the current dessert kiosk flavour.
· When a new soft serve launches, the McFlurry version sells out first. Get the cone.
· Dessert kiosks are the reliable place for limited flavours. Drive-thrus often run out early.
· $1.30 for a cone is still the cheapest ice cream test in Singapore.
