Johor Bahru Shopping Malls Tier List: KSL, Mid Valley, AEON S-Tier

S-tier and A-tier

S: Mid Valley Southkey, AEON Mall, KSL City Mall. A: Sutera Mall, Angsana Johor Bahru Mall, Toppen Shopping Centre.

KSL in S-tier was the fight. One person asked if KSL management made the list. Another said we never go to Malaysia. But KSL is where the Singapore car lands when nobody planned anything, and it does everything: food, massage, groceries, done by dinner. If you want the actual day plan, our JB family itinerary runs through Mid Valley Southkey. Also yes, a few of you caught that the Mid Valley photo was not Southkey. Fair.

B-tier and C-tier

B: Mall of Medini, City Square Mall. C: Paradigm Mall, Plaza Pelangi, Johor Premium Outlets.

"JPO C tier is a crime" was the top complaint, followed closely by Paradigm. Our defence: JPO is an outlet you plan a whole trip around, not a mall you drop into, and Paradigm is great if you live in Skudai. City Square in B is pure loyalty. We wrote a whole piece about JB family trips in 2007 and City Square was the first stop every time.

How this compares to the Singapore list
