The 2026 iPad mini starts at S$999 in Singapore for 128GB Wi-Fi, and the new iMac with M6 starts at S$2,099. Both took pre-orders on apple.com/sg from 29 October 2026 and arrive in Apple Stores on Friday 6 November. The iPad mini is S$150 more than the model it replaces, while the iMac keeps its old starting price with two more CPU cores.
Prices from Apple's Singapore store on 30 October 2026, GST included:
Wi-Fi: 128GB S$999, 256GB S$1,149, 512GB S$1,449
Wi-Fi + Cellular: 128GB S$1,229, 256GB S$1,379, 512GB S$1,679
Nano-texture glass adds S$150 and is only on the 256GB and 512GB. Education pricing starts at S$929. Colours are Midnight (new) and Starlight.
The old A17 Pro iPad mini started at S$849 on the same store in early October, so the entry price is up S$150. Apple's new TechWoven Smart Folio is S$119 and the Apple Pencil Pro is S$199. For the other Apple launches this month, see our MacBook Pro touch screen price guide and the iPhone Duo guide.
Apple calls this the biggest update the mini has had, and the list backs it up:
OLED screen. 8.5 inches, up to 1,200 nits peak, which Apple says is over twice the old model. Same footprint, 24% thinner bezels.
Water resistance. IP67, a first for the mini. Reading in the bath or by the pool is less of a gamble now.
A20 Pro chip. Apple says up to 60% faster multithreaded and up to 2.7x faster graphics than the last one.
Thinner. 5.4mm. The front camera moves to the landscape edge for FaceTime, and Apple's C2 modem promises up to 50% faster mobile data on the cellular model.
Who should buy: anyone on an older mini who reads, sketches or games on the train. If you just want a cheap tablet for YouTube, S$999 is a lot for a small screen.
The iMac starts at S$2,099 with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, or S$2,399 with 12 cores each. Education pricing is S$2,029 and S$2,259. Every colour costs the same: blue, green, pink, yellow, purple, orange and silver.

In early October the S$2,099 iMac on Apple's Singapore store had an 8-core chip, so you now get two more cores for the same money. Apple says the M6 iMac is up to 1.5x faster in Excel and up to 2x faster at graphics than the M4 model, with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The screen is still the 24-inch 4.5K Retina. Nano-texture glass, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, Touch ID as standard and four full Thunderbolt 4 ports are on the 12-core models only.
Who should upgrade: Intel iMac owners, easily, Apple says it is up to 18x faster than the most popular Intel iMac. On an M3 or M4, keep what you have.
Singapore has three Apple Stores, all open 10am to 10pm on Apple's store pages this week:
Apple Orchard Road, 270 Orchard Road
Apple Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue, B2-06
Apple Jewel Changi Airport, 78 Airport Boulevard, #02-234
Apple says both arrive in Apple Stores and at Apple Authorised Resellers from 6 November. Apple's store pages limit each customer to six of each. If you are heading to Jewel, our Jewel food guide has where to eat after. More on the Eventful blog.
· The 128GB iPad mini cannot take nano-texture glass. You need 256GB or more for that.
· Check your education eligibility: the iPad mini drops to S$929 and the iMac to S$2,029.
· Want Ethernet or nano-texture glass on the iMac? Only the S$2,399 12-core model has them.
The 2026 iPad mini starts at S$999 for 128GB Wi-Fi and S$1,229 for 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular on apple.com/sg, GST included. The 512GB cellular model with nano-texture glass tops out at S$1,829.
Pre-orders opened on 29 October 2026. Apple says it is available from Friday 6 November 2026.
Apple rates it IP67 for water and dust resistance, which is new for the iPad mini. Treat that as protection against splashes and the odd drop in the pool, not an invitation to swim with it.
