The four gnocchi, with prices

Gnocchi al Tartufo, $24. Truffle. The safe one. Butter Chicken Gnocchi, $25. Indian butter chicken on Italian potato dumplings. Burrata Gnocchi, $26. Stuffed Gnocchi, $27.

The same section also has two risottos, Porcini ($23) and Nero ($26), if someone at the table is not a dumpling person. The restaurant describes its gnocchi as handmade. For pizza and pasta, see Epicurean Fusion pizza and pasta guide.

Which one to order

Our call: Butter Chicken Gnocchi. It is the dish that explains the restaurant, Italian technique with flavours Singapore grew up on. Gnocchi holds a thick sauce better than pasta does, and butter chicken is the thickest sauce there is.

Second visit, get the Burrata Gnocchi. If you like burrata, also order the Burrata Salad ($18) as a starter and share it.
