What the 2026 bazaar was

It is the big one. Honeycombers counted over 500 stalls in 2026, more than 150 of them selling food, spread across the streets around Wisma Geylang Serai, a short walk from Paya Lebar MRT. The Hari Raya light-up was switched on the same weekend it opened, on 14 February, with DPM Gan Kim Yong at the launch.

We went and ate through five stalls with prices, so if you want the food, read what we ate at the Geylang Serai bazaar and what it cost. Our very first videos were from this bazaar the year before, so it is a bit of a home ground for us.

What stood out in 2026

Beyond the food, there was Kampung Solace, a kampung-house photobooth set by Solace Studios, $10 for 2 strips. We covered it in our Kampung Photobooth piece.

The final night ran till 6am on 21 March, Hari Raya Puasa itself, which is the night people go for last-minute baju and kuih. The light-up stayed on till 30 March.

What to expect in 2027

No dates yet, as of 5 October 2026. The bazaar follows Ramadan, and MOM lists Hari Raya Puasa 2027 on Wednesday 10 March. So if the pattern holds, expect it to open around early February 2027 and run up to Raya, about five weeks in total.
