Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2026: What We Ate and What It Cost

The Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2026 ran from 14 February to 21 March 2026 around Wisma Geylang Serai, 10am to 11.59pm daily. We went in February 2026 and ate our way through five stalls: House of Lemang, Mahmud's Tandoor, The Original Vadai, a keropok lekor stall and Ah Moi Thai Tea. This is what each one cost and whether it was worth it, kept as a record for anyone planning next year's trip.

This one has finished.

It ran until 21 March 2026. We keep the page up because people still search for it and the details are worth having, but do not make the trip on the strength of this article. For what is actually on right now, see things to do this weekend.

In this article
  1. When and where the 2026 bazaar ran
  2. House of Lemang: the stall we went back to
  3. Mahmud's Tandoor: the $20 burger that earned it
  4. Vadai, keropok lekor and the Thai tea

When and where the 2026 bazaar ran

The bazaar's own Instagram, @bazaarayageylang, listed it at Wisma Geylang Serai from 14 February to 21 March 2026, 10am to 11.59pm daily, with the last night running till 6am on 21 March. It is the big one: AsiaOne counted more than 500 stalls, food and retail mixed together. It is over now, and no 2027 dates are out yet.

We had already previewed the setup in our first Geylang Serai Bazaar 2026 post. This page is the food review that came after. If you are comparing bazaars, the smaller heartland ones that year were the new Pasir Ris Ramadan Bazaar and Bukit Gombak, the cheapest one we found.

House of Lemang: the stall we went back to

We were genuinely happy to see House of Lemang here. We had eaten them at the Woodlands bazaar earlier that season, and the lemang set at Geylang Serai was just as good. Get the beef rendang with it, and grab a box of their kueh while you are there.

Their board when we went in February 2026: Lemang Set $15, Nasi Empit Set $12, Lepat Set $12, Nasi Set $10. Add-ons were $4 each for an extra lemang cut or sambal paru. Ala carte, a whole lemang was $15, rendang $10, serunding daging $10 and sambal paru $8.

Mahmud's Tandoor: the $20 burger that earned it

Mahmud's Tandoor is a bazaar regular and it did not disappoint. The burger was even better than we remembered, and it is huge. The one we had came to $20, which sounds like a lot for a bazaar until you are holding it. We still think it was worth every cent.

Their board listed the OG Burger and the Crispydoori Burger at $12 on their own, $15 with masala fries and $17 with loaded fries. Loaded Chicken Masala Fries were $7.50 small or $10.50 large, the Popiahdoori was $6.50 or $10, and the chai or slush of the day was $6.50.

Vadai, keropok lekor and the Thai tea

The Original Vadai is just vadai, but it is a classic, and it was five pieces for $6.50 when we went. Skip the ikan bilis one and get the prawn vadai instead. The keropok lekor was only okay on its own. With the chilli sauce it became a decent thing to munch on while walking.

For drinks, Ah Moi Thai Tea was $5 for 1000ml and $4 for 700ml. It is very sweet, and it is still the one drink we would queue for at any pasar malam. If you want the wider view, here is our pasar malam food tier list, and for a Ramadan-only pizza that year, Now Pizza did a Rendang Ayam and an Ondeh-Ondeh pizza.

At a glance

📍Location: Wisma Geylang Serai
🗓️When: 14th February to 21st March 2026
⏰Time: 10am to 11:59pm daily

Good to know

· Lemang sets ran $10 to $15 in 2026, so budget about $15 a head for a proper savoury meal at the big stalls.

· If you want room to walk the aisles, go in the afternoon rather than right after buka puasa.

· Ask for the sauce with keropok lekor, it needs it.

· Thai tea at $5 for a litre is the best-value drink we saw, but share it, it is sweet.
