Singapore Fast Food Tier List: McDonald's, Wingstop and Jollibee S-Tier, Popeyes in C

Singapore Fast Food Tier List: McDonald's, Wingstop and Jollibee S-Tier, Popeyes in C

S-tier is McDonald's, Wingstop and Jollibee. A-tier is Subway and Shake Shack. B-tier is KFC, 4Fingers, MOS Burger and Chick-fil-A. C-tier is Five Guys, Burger King, Lotteria and Popeyes, and putting Popeyes in C is the single most flamed decision this account has made. "POPEYES IN C???????" was the top comment. We stand by it, mostly.

The tiers, with reasons

S: McDonald's because it is the baseline every other chain is measured against and the breakfast menu alone carries it. Wingstop because the lemon pepper wings are the best fried chicken in a mall in this country. Jollibee because Chickenjoy with the gravy plus the spaghetti is a full meal for the price of a Big Mac. A: Subway for being the only one you can eat every day, Shake Shack for the burger, minus points for the price. B: KFC on nostalgia, 4Fingers on sauce, MOS on rice buns, Chick-fil-A because two outlets in 2026 is too new to rank higher; here is where the second one landed.

C: Five Guys is $20 for a burger with no plate. Burger King has been sliding for years. Lotteria is fine. Popeyes is the one where the comments have a point: the biscuit and the Cajun fries are S-tier, the chicken is inconsistent by outlet, and that inconsistency is why it dropped.

What the comments would change

Popeyes up to at least B, unanimously. Long John Silver's was missed entirely and one person is still grieving it. Chic-a-boo, the local one, got a shout for the best chicken. A fair rework would be Popeyes B, Chick-fil-A B, Five Guys D. For the McDonald's menu itself ranked item by item, that list is here.

Good to know

· Wingstop lemon pepper, boneless, is the order. Everything else there is second.

· Jollibee's spaghetti is not a joke. Order it with the chicken, not instead of it.

· Popeyes is outlet-dependent. If your nearest one is good, you are lucky, not right.

· Five Guys is worth doing once for the free peanuts and never again at full price.
