The First 100 Partners: What the First 100 Restaurants Get

The first 100 restaurants to sign up to Eventful Tables are the First 100 Partners. They get S$1 per seated diner locked for one year from the day they sign, a rate we cannot raise inside that year and can only lower, and one piece of content about them on Eventful's own channels. Partner numbers are handed out in signup order, one to a hundred, and when they are gone they are gone.

What the hundred actually get

Three things, and only one of them is the price.

The rate. S$1 for each diner who sits down, locked for a year from the day you sign up. Locked means we cannot raise it inside that year. It can still go down.
Content. One piece about your restaurant on Eventful's own channels. We reach over ten million views a month across Instagram, TikTok and Lemon8, and that audience is Singaporeans deciding where to eat this week.
The number. Partner numbers run one to a hundred in signup order. After the hundredth, the rate for new restaurants is set fresh.

Why we capped it at a hundred

Because a launch price that never ends is not a launch price, it is just the price, and we would rather be straight about that.

The first hundred restaurants carry a risk the hundredth-and-first does not. They are listing on something with no reviews, no history and no proof, on our word that we can send them diners. The locked rate is what we can offer for taking that on.

The part that is not about price

Eventful is a content business first. We have spent years putting Singapore food and events in front of people who are deciding where to go, and Tables is the booking layer under that.

So the piece of content is not a bonus thrown in. For most restaurants it is worth more than the rate. A post that lands puts your room in front of a large local audience on the week you want covers, and the booking button is right there rather than three steps away.

What we make and when is our call, because it has to work as content or nobody watches it. That is in the agreement in plain words.

What it costs to find out

Nothing until diners eat. There is no signup fee, no monthly fee and no setup fee, and no card is charged on the day you join. The first money moves only after real diners have sat down and your bill has passed S$50. The full breakdown is in what Eventful Tables costs a restaurant.

Good to know

· The lock runs from the day you sign, not from launch day. Signing earlier buys you a longer lock, not a better rate.

· Only seated diners are billed on this rate. No-shows and cancellations are never charged.

· There is a second option at 50 cents a diner if you give Eventful your bookings on their own and nothing else. It has fewer places in it than a hundred.

· Ask us to see a real bill before you sign. Every diner is itemised and there is nothing on it you cannot check.

FAQs

What are the First 100 Partners?

The first hundred restaurants to sign up to Eventful Tables. Partner numbers are handed out one to a hundred in signup order. They get S$1 per seated diner locked for a year, and one piece of content about them on Eventful's channels.

How long is the First 100 rate locked?

One year from the day the restaurant signs up. Inside that year we cannot raise it. We can lower it, and if the general rate ever drops below a dollar the partner gets the lower one.

What happens after the first 100 restaurants?

The rate for restaurants joining after that is set separately and is not promised to be a dollar. Partners already inside the hundred keep their locked rate for the rest of their year.

Is there a cheaper rate than S$1 a diner?

Yes, S$0.50 per seated diner, for restaurants that use Eventful as their only reservations platform and put their Eventful booking link everywhere their restaurant appears online. That option also includes one piece of content every month rather than one in total, and it has a smaller number of places.

What does the content piece involve?

A piece about your restaurant made by Eventful and posted on Eventful's own channels. What we make and when it goes out is our call, because it has to work as content. That is written into the agreement rather than left vague.
