2GATHER at Suntec Tower 2 runs a daily set lunch from $9.90, covering Thai basil minced pork, basil chicken and pad thai, with pricier sets up to $12.90 for boat noodles and braised pork leg rice. Each set comes with a drink or a drink add-on, and from 11am to 3pm any a la carte order gets a $1 coffee, tea or iced calamansi.
Three sets sit at $9.90 on 2GATHER's own menu: Thai Basil Minced Pork Set, Thai Basil Sliced Chicken Set and Pad Thai Noodle Set (with a moo ping stick). In the CBD, under $10 for a sit-down Thai lunch is rare.
Each comes "with choice of drink or add-on drink", so ask what is included when you order. Prices are before GST and a 10% service charge, per the printed menu. For the full menu, see our 2GATHER guide.
The rest of the set lunch menu
$10.90: Fish N Chips Set, Thai Mango Sticky Rice Set, Stir Fried Glass Vermicelli Set, Egg Omelette with Cabbage Rice Set, Thai Pineapple Fried Rice Set. $11.90: Thai Lemongrass Grill Chicken Rice Set. $12.90: Pad See Eww Set, Thai Boat Noodle Set, Khao Kah Moo (braised pork leg) Rice with Egg Set, Roast Pork with Kailan Rice Set.
From the menu: 11am to 3pm daily, every a la carte dine-in order can add a hot coffee, tea or iced calamansi for $1. So if you skip the set and order a $14.90 pad thai, your drink is a dollar.
There are also combo meals with a drink, from $15.90, for a bigger plate with a sunny egg and salad. The printed menu notes combo meals do not get any further discount.
Does the Eventful discount apply?
Bookings Monday to Thursday get 10% off food through Eventful Tables. Since combos are excluded from further discounts on the printed menu, expect the same for set lunches, and ask before you order. A la carte dishes are where the 10% counts.
