Christmas Baking Class Singapore 2026: Gingerbread and Cookies

Two Singapore cooking schools have published dated Christmas baking classes for November and December 2026. Palate Sensations at Biopolis runs a $188 gingerbread house class, $168 cookie gift bag classes and $90 parent and child sessions, while ToTT at i12 Katong has a $138 parent and child gingerbread house workshop on 28 November. Prices and dates below are from each school's own booking page on 30 October 2026.
Palate Sensations: Christmas Gingerbread House, $188, 4 hours, with Chef Kogilan Kumarasamy. Two dates: Thursday 26 November, 2pm to 6pm and Sunday 20 December, 10am to 2pm. You mix and roll the gingerbread dough, cut the walls and roof, assemble it and decorate. Leftover dough becomes cookies for the house. This is the adult version and the most serious of the lot.
ToTT: Junior Chef Gingerbread House Workshop, $138 for one child plus one parent, Saturday 28 November, 4.30pm to 7.30pm, at ToTT @ i12 Katong with Chef Michele Ow. For kids aged 5 to 12, with one adult at no extra charge. You go home with one gingerbread house. The page lists a 20% Christmas promo code, TOTTXMAS20, and $15 off for ToTT members. Christmas cookie classes
Palate Sensations runs three versions of its Christmas Cookie Gift Bags class, each $168 for 3 hours, and you take everything home. Good for a batch of gifts.
Ginger Series (soft ginger cookies and decorated gingerbread men): Friday 6 November, 10am to 1pm or Sunday 6 December, 2pm to 5pm, with Chef Kogilan.
Gift Bags (1) (Linzer cookies, crescent almond cookies, chocolate crinkles, snickerdoodles): Thursday 12 November, 2pm to 5pm or Saturday 5 December, 10am to 1pm, with Chef Lynette Foo. Four cookie types in three hours is the best value of the set.
Gift Bags (2) (cranberry pistachio biscotti, oatmeal raisin cookies, rum balls, mini meringue kisses): Sunday 13 December, 2pm to 5pm, with Chef Kogilan. Rum balls mean this one is not for the kids' gift list.

Parent and child Christmas classes
Palate Sensations lists three 2-hour parent and child classes for ages 7 to 12, each $90 on the booking page. Check at checkout whether that covers one parent and one child.
Christmas Cookies (vanilla biscuits, cut with Christmas cutters, iced with royal icing): Sunday 1 November, 10am to 12pm or Tuesday 15 December, 2pm to 4pm.
Christmas Gingerbread Men (dough from scratch, cut and iced): Saturday 21 November, 10am to 12pm or Saturday 12 December, 2pm to 4pm.
Christmas Tree Cupcakes (vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, piped into trees): Sunday 29 November, 2pm to 4pm or Wednesday 23 December, 10am to 12pm.

Christmas cooking classes, and where the schools are
Not just baking. Palate Sensations' Christmas in the Tropics ($188, Sunday 20 December, 10am to 2pm) is a light menu for hot-weather Christmas: Thai seafood salad, ham, pumpkin and spinach quiche, prawn, watermelon and feta salad, salmon sushi, berry popsicles and mini pavlovas. Its Celebrate a Vegan Christmas class ($188, Sunday 1 November, 2pm to 6pm) ends with a chocolate log cake. Palate Sensations: Chromos #01-03, 10 Biopolis Road, opposite Buona Vista MRT. Classes need at least 4 people or they may be cancelled (you get a refund or a swap), and bookings close 48 hours before. The school says none of these are SkillsFuture claimable.
ToTT @ i12 Katong: 112 East Coast Road, #02-09/10, a short walk from Marine Parade MRT. The studio has no waiting area, so only registered participants go in.
