Block Party's first edition took over Our Tampines Hub on 23 May 2026, from 12pm to 10pm, with free entry. It billed itself as a neighbourhood festival built by youths for youths, organised by InterfaithSG, and the ten-hour run meant you could turn up after work and still catch most of it.

What was actually on the ground
The programme leaned into the specific rather than the generic, which is the reason it worked. A Beyblade competition, street chess, an Instax photobooth, a junk journaling workshop, casual FIFA rounds and barber services by Fade Factory. Alongside that ran a lifestyle and retail market selling knick-knacks, merch, accessories, digital cameras, stationery and art prints. For the food, vendors included Pralet, Sweet Cheeks, Twosisterssmoothie, Pancake King and Nice Rice doing sausage wraps. If youth-led takeovers are your thing, Youth Day at *SCAPE ran the same idea across a whole building six weeks later.
The giveaway we ran with them

Why Our Tampines Hub suits this
It is one of the few venues in Singapore that can hold a ten-hour outdoor-feeling festival with a mall, a hawker centre, a library and a stadium attached. If the weather turns, you are thirty seconds from cover, which is not true of a park event. Tampines MRT is a short walk on the East West and Downtown lines.
