Good to know

· Ask for a soup top-up. At most bak kut teh shops refills of the broth are part of the deal.

· Order you tiao (fried dough) and salted vegetables on the side. Dip the you tiao in the soup.

· Bak kut teh is pork, so none of these are halal.

· Rangoon Road has two of these shops a few doors apart. If Ng Ah Sio has a queue, walk to Legendary at 154, unless it is a Wednesday.
