Brooklyn Bar at 14 Ann Siang Road is a relaxed date-night pick: cocktails from $25, tacos to share at $21 a plate, and music you can still talk over. Book a table for two from 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
It is casual without being loud. Booths, a bar counter and an outdoor deck give you options, and nobody expects a jacket.
Tuesday and Wednesday are quieter, and booking through Eventful Tables between 5pm and 8pm on those days gets 10% off food and drinks. Only 10 bookings per timing, so lock it in early.
What to order for two
One plate of beef birria tacos ($21) and one of Bushwick Baja fish tacos ($21), then swap halfway. Add the regular fries at $14 if you are hungry.
