From the bar's own menu: Milo Old Fashioned $26 (bourbon, Milo, hazelnut, amaro, chocolate bitters). Maracuya Mistress $26 (bourbon, lemon, lime, passionfruit, egg white). The Lychee Martini $25 (lychee-macerated vodka, Moscato, prosecco, rose).

Black Forest Refresher $25 (rum, crème de mûre, blackberry compote, mint, berry soda). Cole Gold World $26, a margarita riff named after a J. Cole track, with tequila, mezcal and chilli bitters. Awww Honey Honey $26, their take on a Gold Rush with honey-cereal whisky and a baked honey tuile.

Rosa Rosa Rosa $26 (coconut fat-washed tequila, Campari, chocolate rosso vermouth). Asian Melon Baller $26 (gin, Midori, pandan, cantaloupe, herb smoke). And the Brooklyn Iced Tea at $32, five spirits topped with sarsaparilla soda and dill.

Which one to order first

If you like whisky: the Milo Old Fashioned. It tastes like the school canteen got a liquor licence, and it is the drink reviewers name most. We wrote it up in our Milo Old Fashioned piece.

If you want something light: the Black Forest Refresher, which one Google reviewer said was refreshing without being too sweet. If you want local: the Asian Melon Baller, with pandan doing the heavy lifting. Skip the Iced Tea unless you are sure. Five spirits in one glass is a lot of night in one drink.

Do they make drinks off the menu?

Reviews mention bartenders adjusting drinks to taste and even remaking one for a guest. So if nothing on the list fits, tell them what you usually drink.

On a busy Friday, keep it simple. The off-menu chat goes better on a quiet Tuesday.

Paying less for the same drinks

Cocktails are part of the Eventful Tables deal: Tue and Wed, 5pm to 8pm: 10% off food and drinks. Only 10 bookings per timing. On a $26 cocktail, that is $2.60 back per glass.

Food goes with it too. See our Brooklyn Bar food guide for what to pair. Brooklyn Bar serves alcohol, and in Singapore you must be 18 or older to buy or drink it. Bring ID. Book on Brooklyn Bar on Eventful Tables.
