Sentosa has 123 places to eat on the island's own dining directory, spread across six zones that are nothing like walking distance from each other. Picking the wrong one costs you a shuttle ride and half an hour, so this guide is sorted by zone, with the opening hours on every entry.
The hours matter more here than anywhere else in Singapore. Half the island shuts its kitchen by 8pm, the beach clubs only run late on weekends, and a few places do not open on Mondays at all. Everything below was checked against each venue's own listing on 13 August 2026.
The air-conditioned food court right outside Beach Station, and the answer to the question everyone asks after an hour on the sand. Sentosa's own listing calls it the island's only halal-certified food court, doing local hawker dishes at food-court prices. It is the first thing you walk past coming off the monorail, which is exactly why it is the easiest cheap meal on the island.
Worth knowing about if you are planning ahead: Sentosa takes over Siloso Beach with a free-entry beach barbecue festival in the middle of the year, dozens of stalls, and it is a completely different experience from the restaurants below. Hawaiian food on the sand, with a pool, day beds and the water sports desk attached. Come for poke and loco moco in the afternoon, stay for the fairy lights at dusk. It is the Siloso spot that works equally well with kids splashing in the 1.2m pool and with a cocktail at sunset.
The all-day beach restaurant most people picture when they think of eating on Siloso: deck chairs on the sand, wide ocean view, food that arrives without ceremony. It opens at 9am on weekends, which makes it one of the few real breakfast options on the beach itself.
A proper sand-in-your-toes beach bar with beer on tap, a pool table and beer pong. Sentosa's own write-up singles out the chicken and beef satay as the thing to order, which is a strange and excellent recommendation for a beach bar.
The quiet end of the island. Tanjong is the least crowded of the three beaches and the club leans into it: a long white-sand stretch, a pool, and an alfresco terrace that turns into a proper dinner spot in the evening. Family friendly and pet friendly during the day.
Spanish and Mediterranean tapas on the beach, and the paella is the reason to come, portioned to feed up to four. Note the address: their own site lists 110 Tanjong Beach Walk, so this is the Tanjong end, not Siloso. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Twelve terraced cabanas with private plunge pools, an infinity pool with a swim-up bar and DJs at the weekend. This is the go-big beach club rather than the walk-up one. Weekend hours run much longer than weekdays, so check before you make the trip midweek.
Greek cooking from the family that runs the Bukit Timah original, transplanted to a beachfront room at The Palawan. Big sharing plates, plenty of olive oil, the kind of meal that runs long. Closed Mondays.
Ten food trucks parked up beside the family beach, which is the fastest way to feed a group that cannot agree on anything. Walk down from Beach Station, eat on the sand. Weekend hours are longer and start earlier than weekdays.
Thin-crust pizza from a custom-built oven, served at beachside tables next to Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa. It sits right beside the Nestopia play space, which is the whole point if you are here with children.
Wanton mee, char kway teow, fish udon and Chinese roast meats in a quick casual room at the Siloso Point end. Open until 11pm daily, which makes it one of the later kitchens on the beach side of the island.
The most useful opening hours on Sentosa: 6.30am. It is the hotel cafe on the third level at Siloso Point, with sea-view window seats and an alfresco terrace. Nothing else on Sentosa's own dining directory lists an earlier start, so if you need breakfast before the island wakes up, this is it.
An open-air food hall by the water at Southside, several kitchens under one roof. It is the newer end of the island and the least busy, and the one to pick when your group wants different things and nobody wants a food court.
Not a normal outlet. This flagship has Asia's first Din Tai Fung cocktail bar, a tea-pairing menu, dumpling-making and tea-etiquette workshops, and outlet-exclusive dishes including lobster noodles and pan-fried gyoza. Monday closes early at 7.30pm.
Heng Hwa cooking from Fujian, and a rare thing on Sentosa: a restaurant people would queue for on the mainland too. Order the stir-fried yam and the fried Heng Hwa bee hoon. Open straight through from 11.30am, so it covers the awkward mid-afternoon gap.
Dinner inside the aquarium, with the tank as the wall. The menu is curated by Olivier Bellin, a two-Michelin-star chef from Brittany, built around responsibly sourced seafood. Book it, do not walk up. Lunch and dinner sittings only, with a long afternoon break.
Part fish market, part oyster bar, part bakery, at the quiet marina end of the island. The two-tier cold seafood platter is the set piece: half a Boston lobster, oysters, green lip mussels, clams, tiger prawns and house cold-smoked salmon.
Blue-and-white Greek taverna looking out over the yachts at Quayside Isle. Mezze, grilled fish, long lunches. Weekdays close between 3pm and 6pm, weekends run straight through.
Indian vegetarian and chaat up at Imbiah Lookout, with a 10am to 10pm window that is unusually long for that part of the island. The tandoor dishes are the draw, including a grilled potato taco with pico de gallo that should not work and does.
Local plates like seafood curry noodles and chicken wing nasi lemak, plus Milo and kaya frappes, at the cable car end. It is the pit stop between attractions rather than a destination, and it opens at 8.45am.
A garden cafe inside Sensoryscape, surrounded by planting and birdsong, and dog friendly. Worth knowing that it closes at 5pm and does not open on Mondays, so it is a daytime stop only.
Curry puffs and fried snacks at Beach Station, for when you want something in your hand in ninety seconds. Closes at 8pm, earlier than most of the beach.
Halal-certified Malaysian fried chicken at Beach Station: burgers, chicken meals, and nasi bowls with kari sauce. Along with Good Old Days next door, it is the halal option most people miss because they walk straight past it to the beach.
The Sentosa Express monorail from Level 3 of VivoCity is $4 as a one-time entry fee, and travel between the island stations is free after that. Concession card holders pay $2, and children under 7 with an adult go free. Driving in costs $2 to $6 depending on the time of day, and parking is $2.20 per hour from 7am to 5pm, then $4 flat per entry after that, capped at $10 a day. Motorcycles are not allowed onto the island.
Beach Station, which is where the monorail drops you. Good Old Days Singapore Flavours is an air-conditioned food court doing local hawker dishes at food-court prices, and Marrybrown and Old Chang Kee are in the same cluster. You do not need to walk more than two minutes from the station for any of them.
Yes. Sentosa's own listing describes Good Old Days Singapore Flavours at Beach Station as the island's only halal-certified food court, and Marrybrown next to it is a halal-certified Malaysian fried chicken chain. As always, check the certificate at the counter if it matters to you.
On Siloso: Ola Beach Club, Coastes and Bikini Bar, all reachable on the Beach Shuttle or a short walk from Beach Station. On Palawan: +Twelve, Blu Kouzina and The Palawan Food Trucks. On Tanjong: Tanjong Beach Club and FOC by the Beach. Trapizza sits at the Siloso Point end, next to Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa.
Silver Shell Cafe at Dine on 3 in Siloso Point opens at 6.30am, which is the earliest on the island. Arbora Cafe at Imbiah Lookout opens at 8.45am. On weekends Coastes and Tanjong Beach Club both open at 9am, and +Twelve at 9.30am, so a beach breakfast only works Saturday and Sunday.
8 Noodles at Siloso Point runs to 11pm daily. On Friday and Saturday nights FOC by the Beach goes to 11pm, and Coastes, Bikini Bar and +Twelve to 10.30pm. Most of the rest of the island stops serving between 8pm and 10pm, and the last Sentosa Express train back to VivoCity is at midnight.
The Sentosa Express monorail has three island stops: Resorts World, Imbiah and Beach Station, and rides between them are included in your entry. From Beach Station the Sentosa Beach Shuttle runs along the coast to Siloso Point, Bikini Bar, Palawan and Tanjong. Intra-island Bus A and Bus B cover Imbiah Lookout, Siloso Point and Sentosa Cove Village, which is the only way to reach the Cove restaurants without a car.
