82 places, every unit number checked

Paya Lebar Quarter has 82 places to eat across PLQ Mall, PLQ Parkside and the ground floors of the office towers, directly linked to Paya Lebar MRT. 17 of them are on MUIS's own halal register, which we checked because PLQ's directory does not mark halal at all.

Basement 2 is the big food floor, 30 places, mostly bakeries, buns and quick lunches for the offices upstairs. Level 3 is the restaurant floor, with Haidilao, TungLok Seafood and Paradise Dynasty. Level 4 has the Kopitiam food court and Saizeriya. Across Sims Avenue, PLQ Parkside has cafés with outdoor seats by the playground. Unit numbers and hours below come from PLQ's own directory, which Lendlease runs.

Quick answers

How do I get to PLQ Mall by MRT?

Take the train to Paya Lebar, EW8 on the East West Line and CC9 on the Circle Line. PLQ's own site says the development is directly integrated into the station. PLQ Mall's address is 10 Paya Lebar Road, Singapore 409057.

What time does PLQ Mall open and close?

PLQ's own site does not publish one mall-wide opening time, so go by the shops. By PLQ's directory, KFC at #B1-14 opens at 7am, and Attap House, Toast Box, BreadTalk, Fong Sheng Hao, Starbucks Reserve and luckin coffee at 7.30am. Haidilao runs to 3am, Tipsy Bird to 1am, and A Beautiful Day Café at PLQ Parkside to 11.59pm.

Is there halal food at Paya Lebar Quarter?

Yes. PLQ's own directory does not mark halal shops, so we check MUIS's public register of certified eating places instead. 17 of the 82 places to eat here are on it: Auntie Anne's, D'Penyetz, Eat Pizza, Hanis Cafe & Bakery, Kebabs Faktory, KFC®, Old Chang Kee, Papa Ayam, Paris Baguette, Poke Theory, Pondok Jawa, Sanook Kitchen, smol, Steak 99, Sukiya, The Bread Club and Yum Yum Thai. We re-check that list daily, but look for the certificate at the counter if it matters to you.

How much is parking at PLQ?

From PLQ's own site, the same at all PLQ car parks: 6am to 5.59pm, $2.34 an hour. 6pm to 5.59am, $3.06 per entry. Motorcycles pay $0.75 for the first hour and $0.75 for every half hour after. The grace period is 10 minutes, but go over it and the first 10 minutes are charged too. Rates include GST. The PLQ Mall car park entrance is under Park Place Residences, off Paya Lebar Road after Sims Avenue.

Is PLQ good for kids?

Yes. By PLQ's own site there is an outdoor playground at PLQ Parkside, open 9am to 9pm daily, a roof garden on Level 7 open 10am to 10pm, and family rooms with feeding rooms on Basement 1 and Level 4. Kopitiam and Saizeriya, both on Level 4, are the easy family meals.

Is there a prayer room at PLQ?

Yes. PLQ's own site says the prayer rooms are at PLQ Mall B1A, reached by the travellators on Basement 2.
