Orchard has a thousand places to eat and most of them are fine. Fine is not why you are here. These are the spots between Orchard and Somerset we have covered on @eventful_sg and would go back to on our own money.

2. DRIM
Korean grill spot in Mandarin Gallery where the meat came out so tender we filmed it twice. A proper date-night option that does not need a special occasion.
3. MODU
Same building as DRIM, different mood. Korean comfort food where the potato pancake is a must-get. Order it first, thank us later.
4. Sushi Plus All-You-Can-Eat
313@Somerset is one of only two outlets that gets the Sushi Plus all-you-can-eat buffet when it returns. The September 2025 round was $35 nett per person on selected Tuesdays. Limited windows, big value.
5. Tim Hortons
The Canadian coffee chain went fully halal certified in February 2026 across all outlets, including both Orchard ones. Timbits and a double double between shopping stops is a legitimate strategy.
6. Ministry of Spud at the Christmas Festival
Every year-end the space outside Takashimaya turns into a Christmas festival, and in 2025 the loaded spud kings Ministry of Spud set up there through 1 January. Egg mayo and chilli beef con carne were our picks. Watch for the 2026 edition.
