Orchard has a thousand places to eat and most of them are fine. Fine is not why you are here. These are the spots between Orchard and Somerset we have covered on @eventful_sg and would go back to on our own money.

Sourdough pizza that we flat out said you cannot compare with Domino's or Pizza Hut, because it is playing a different sport. Halal too, the brand's own site says so. They have done $5 pizza days and free tote promos before, but even at full price it earns the trip.
Korean charcoal barbecue, full name DRIM Korean Steak House, where the meat came out so tender we filmed it twice. Weekday lunch is its own sitting from 12pm to 3pm, so do not turn up at 4pm. A proper date-night option that does not need a special occasion.
Same building as DRIM, different mood. MODU is a samgyetang place, Korean ginseng chicken soup, and the mall's own directory says the broth is simmered for 24 hours. Order the potato pancake first, thank us later.
313@Somerset is one of the outlets that has hosted the Sushi Plus all-you-can-eat buffet, which runs in limited windows rather than daily. The September 2025 round was $35 nett per person on selected Tuesdays. The outlet itself is open daily, it is only the buffet that comes and goes, so check with them before going.
The Canadian coffee chain got halal certification across all its Singapore outlets in February 2026, both Orchard ones included. Timbits and a double double between shopping stops is a legitimate strategy, and the 313 branch opens at 7.30am if you need the coffee before the shops.
The space outside Takashimaya turns into a Christmas festival at year end, and in 2025 the loaded spud kings Ministry of Spud set up there through 1 January. Egg mayo and chilli beef con carne were our picks. Watch for whether they return in 2026.
Yes. Tim Hortons Singapore announced halal certification for all its outlets in February 2026, including 313@Somerset (#01-29) and Plaza Singapura (#02-K1 to K3).
