The three best places to go in Singapore as a couple are the free Garden Rhapsody light show at Gardens by the Bay (7.45pm and 8.45pm most nights, with special editions around Christmas), the Jewel Rain Vortex followed by Sarawak food at KANTIN, and the National Gallery followed by dinner in Kampong Glam. Below are 10 dates in three budgets, each with somewhere to eat after.
These cost nothing but the MRT fare. Do them after 7pm when the heat drops. If it is your first date rather than your fiftieth, our first date ideas with easy exits is the better list.
1. Garden Rhapsody at Supertree Grove

Find a dry patch of ground under the Supertrees and lie back.
2. Spectra at Marina Bay Sands
