Snow City's Last Week: The $19 Farewell Promo, Now Closed

That was the last week

Snow City had been saying goodbye since May, when the Science Centre Board announced it would close after 26 years. That was easy to ignore in June. It was not easy to ignore by the last week. Snow City's own website gave 30 September 2026 as the closing date, and it had already stopped taking group bookings and functions.

What the farewell promo gets you

One hour of snow play and one ride on the ice bumper cars, for $19 an adult or $16 a child. That was the #OneLastSnowfall rate and it ran until 30 September, which was also closing day, so there is no after.

Why people are going back

For most of us, Snow City was a school trip. You went once in primary school, lay on a tube, went down the slope, and have told the story ever since. Some of us went with our families, which we covered in Snow City with your family in 2011. Now it has shut there is no indoor snow left in Singapore, so the people who went back that week got that exact memory one more time, with a better phone.
