When Saizeriya first teased this menu, all we had was a blurred poster. We wrote up what the teaser showed at the time. This is the real thing.

The gnocchi is the reason to go

Our caption said it and we stand by it. The tomato one has actual buffalo mozzarella on top, which Saizeriya imports from Italy, and $6.90 nett for that in a mall is hard to argue with. The cream one with peas and shrimp is the gentler pick if you are sharing with someone who does not do tomato sauce.

Peas are the quiet theme of this menu. They show up in the cream gnocchi and again as a $2.90 side with a poached egg, which is the cheapest new thing on the list and the one we would add to every order.

What a full meal costs now

Gnocchi at $6.90, a Seafood Fritter at $5.90 to share, the Pistachio Cannolo at $4.90 and the $2.90 free-flow drink bar comes to about $21 for one person, less if you split the fritter. The Prosecco at $18.90 a bottle is the other surprise, cheaper than a single cocktail in most of town, and it is 18 and above only. Saizeriya stays on our student meal deals under $12 list for a reason.
