Singapore Flyer August Babies 1-for-1: 2 Tickets for $40 (2025)

In August 2025 the Singapore Flyer ran an August Babies' Special: two tickets for S$40 instead of the usual S$80, a straight 1-for-1. It was for Singapore citizens and PRs born in August, with NRIC checked at entry, and it ran until 31 August 2025. The offer has ended.

This one has finished.

It ran until 31 August 2025. We keep the page up because people still search for it and the details are worth having, but do not make the trip on the strength of this article. For what is actually on right now, see things to do this weekend.

In this article
  1. How the August Babies 1-for-1 worked
  2. What else was on at the Flyer that August
  3. Is it worth going up at night

How the August Babies 1-for-1 worked

The Flyer's own ticket page called it a birthday gift tied to Singapore's 60th National Day. You paid S$40 for two tickets, normally S$80. At least one person in the pair had to show a Singapore citizen or PR NRIC at admission, and our post added that the deal was for August-born Singaporeans and PRs, so bring proof of birthday too.

Each ticket was one 30-minute rotation in a shared capsule, plus the FLYER360 app with AR views of the landmarks around you.

What else was on at the Flyer that August

The same week, the Flyer's waterfront had its National Day night market, Street Eats Under The Stars, from 6 to 10 August 2025. If you were going up anyway, eating first was the move. We covered it in our Street Eats Under The Stars bazaar article.

Is it worth going up at night

We think night is the better ride. Our video was shot after dark, looking down on Marina Bay Sands lit red and the Esplanade, and the 165-metre height does the work. Day rides are fine, but the city looks better with the lights on. For a bigger occasion, the Flyer also does New Year's Eve countdown packages.

💸Prices spotted: $40, $80

Good to know

· Check the Flyer's ticket page around July. Its National Day promos are announced ahead of August.

· Go after sunset for the skyline lights.

· Bring your NRIC. Resident deals are checked at the gate.
