Simei Pasar Malam Nov 2025: Our Honest Food Ratings
The best thing we ate at the Simei MRT pasar malam in November 2025 was the Samyang spicy egg noodles, 8/10. Wu Shi Fu's Taiwan food got 6/10 and the kentang spiral with ugly fries got 5/10. The market ran beside Simei MRT until mid-November 2025.
The scores
1. Wu Shi Fu's Taiwan Food, 6/10. The stall with the big sausage-in-sausage sign. The braised pork rice was decent, but honestly it lacked gravy. Dry rice is a hard sell.
2. Kentang spiral and ugly fries, 5/10. The ugly fries were not bad. The kentang spiral was too oily, and the board was selling it 3 for $10, so you would be getting three oily ones.
3. Samyang Spicy Egg Noodles, 8/10. Our top choice, and it was pretty damn good. Samyang noodles rolled inside a thick omelette, torched mayo and fish roe on top. It is a lot of food in one tray.

Right at Simei MRT, and it is over. Our caption said it ran till 16 November 2025 and the text on our video said 18 November, so take mid-November as the honest answer.
Same month, same kind of market, other end of the island: our Boon Lay pasar malam ratings scored four more stalls. The Pasir Ris one from October got the same treatment.

Good to know
· If the egg noodle stall turns up again, get one tray and share it. It is heavy.
· Skip anything deep fried that has been sitting in the display. The spiral was oily because of that.
· It was right beside Simei MRT, so it worked as a stop on the way home.
