Sentosa GrillFest 2025 Rated: 5 Stalls We Scored Out of 10

We set out to write a brutally honest rating of Sentosa GrillFest 2025 and could not find much to be brutal about. Jett Barbecue and CHARROU scored 9/10, Slurp Your Oysters and NBCB got 8/10, and Gyushi's sugarcane took 7/10. That edition ran at Siloso Beach from 17 July to 10 August 2025 and is long over, so read this as a record of who was good, not a plan for this weekend.
Jett Barbecue, 9/10. Our verdict was that you can never go wrong with them, and the smoked beef ribs and brisket held up.
CHARROU, 9/10. One of the best roast meats we had eaten, full stop. It was the newcomer of the five, and we went deeper on it in our CHARROU write-up.
Slurp Your Oysters, 8/10. Get the raw oysters. The grilled ones were just alright, which is the one real knock on this list.
NBCB, 8/10. Get the GCB and eat it while it is hot. Burgers at a beach festival do not wait for photos.
Gyushi's sugarcane, 7/10. It is a drink. It is cold, it is sugarcane, you cannot really go wrong, but nobody crosses the island for it.
Why nothing scored below 7
Our last slide said it plainly: the food that year was good and there was honestly nothing to score down on. Rating posts usually need a villain. This one did not have one, and we would rather say that than invent a low score for balance.

What happened at GrillFest after 2025
Sentosa brought GrillFest back for a ninth edition from 23 July to 16 August 2026, with 42 vendors across five zones. Jett Barbecue and Slurp Your Oysters both returned. We covered that year, including the free taco giveaway, in our Sentosa GrillFest 2026 guide. No 2027 dates have been announced.
