What NOBO soy milk is

NOBO comes from the same Singapore team as OATSIDE, which a lot of people still assume is a Japanese brand. We covered that in 5 brands you did not know were Singaporean. The pitch for NOBO is simple: a lot of protein, not a lot of beany taste.

The brand lists non-GMO, high-protein soybeans, no added oil, and Omega 3, 6 and 9. Green Queen reported the beans come from Canada. The carton on our slide shows a Nutri-Grade B.

How much NOBO cost at launch

When we posted on 9 March 2026, the 1L carton was $2.90 and three 180ml packs were $2.25 as a bundle. Esquire Singapore reported the same prices at the 17 March launch. For 42g of protein, $2.90 is the part people noticed.

There are two flavours: NOBO Soy, and NOBO Almond Soy, which uses the same soy base with roasted almond. OATSIDE's own online shop sells both in 1L and 180ml cartons, in cases.

Does it beat the Meiji one

Our caption said it might, meaning the protein milk the gym crowd was already grabbing at the supermarket. On protein per litre, NOBO made a strong opening case. We said we would do an honest taste review on @eventfulsg.food once it was out, so check there for the verdict.
