Springleaf Prata Buffet March 2026: $9.90 for 27 Pratas

The rules on the poster

Springleaf's own poster set it out plainly. Ninety minutes, strictly no sharing, a maximum of two prata per round, unlimited rounds until time was up, and a food wastage charge of $5 per 100 grams.

At NEWest and The Rail Mall it ran from 6pm to 6.30am. Every other outlet ran it from 6pm to closing, with the last buffet booking 1.5 hours before closing. We gave Springleaf a 7 out of 10 in our prata spots ranking, so this was a decent prata going cheap, not a legend going cheap.

All 27 pratas

Twenty-one classics: plain, hi-fibre plain, egg, cheese, coin, double egg, double egg onion, paper, paper with milk, paper with sugar, paper with milk and sugar, egg cheese, egg onion, egg onion cheese, egg mozzarella cheese, egg onion mushroom, plaster, plaster cheese, plaster onion, onion and onion cheese.

Six desserts: banana, red bean, chocolate, roti bomb, milky prata and prontoast.

Was $9.90 actually a deal?

Our caption was honest: we were not sure we could eat more than three. Springleaf valued two plain prata at $2.80 in its own Woodlands opening promo, so $9.90 is about seven plain ones. Eat egg, cheese and plaster and you broke even much sooner.

The catch was the wastage charge. Two a round sounds small, but ordering a round you could not finish cost you more than the buffet saved you.

It has ended

The buffet finished on 19 March 2026. The poster said it was back by popular demand, so it has returned before, but there is no announced next date. Springleaf's newer news was its Woodlands Community Club outlet, which opened on 17 June 2026.
